  1. In regards to pour temp on PB Pillar we pour around 160 and have had no trouble - but we only do FO no colors at all...
  2. We sell them for $2.99 which is the going rate in our area of NC but I have seen them as high as $4 at a couple of the shows we have done. It's just difficult for us with Wally World having the exact same size tarts for $2.00!!!! We use Eco-Soya PB which works well in the clamshells in regards to coming out and we've tested them in different kinds of warmers and they melt down just fine. The only problems we have seen with the smaller warmers is that the wax will actually get too hot and burn the fragrance out quickly.
  3. Brown5052 is the correct - CandleScience has outstanding customer service and from what I can tell the best prices on all of their goods....
  4. CandleScience is the best price for the 8 oz jelly jars by far they are priced without lids but by the time you put them together they beat all the competition. I don't buy the other jar from them but they are very reasonable on their jars and it you do a big order with them (over 200lbs) you get the 100 pound rate with UPS from them and it saves a bunch....
  5. CS Fresh Coffee has the best hot & cold throw in Soy we have found yet - our customers go ape over it.
  6. Candlescience is our preferred fo supplier - for those fo that they don't have we use Gemlite - just be aware - you get what you pay for... And test, test, test...
  7. Have you looked at what Jackal has to offer? Not very familiar with Scentsy's warmers but Jackal has a diverse line...
  8. Grapefruit & Mangosteen - Test burned in gb464 and it's TOTALLY AWESOME! Great throw! Love it! Also in tealights... CS Rocks AGAIN!
  9. We only sell jelly jars - 8 oz. Seemed like the simplest - it's not too much of the same fragrance for most people - it's very affordable - we sell them for $6.99 - we make a decent profit and perfect under $10 gifts. We've done shows for 4 years - only the last 2 of those with soy candles - but we've learned that the less selection you have to offer the more you sell. I know that sounds crazy but people will actually talk themselves out of buying anything if you offer too many styles and sizes. I promise I have seen that more than I ever want to remember. KISS - is the best method in any business. Keep It Simple Superhero! (supposed to be stupid but my 8 grade teacher said that was just rude... and I agree!)
  10. Hello Gang - Newbie to the site but been making soy candles for 2 years now. Very good info on here so far. Now to my ? We have been pouring unscented clear cup teas the entire time we have been making candles. Always made sense to us because the burn time is almost double that of paraffin. OK - I have sold over 4000 tealights made with TL13 wicks, GB464 wax. I have just recently had complaints of them NOT burning good. 1 customer had 2 out of 7 that "dudded" out - like the wick died and the other said they had a very small flame and nearly died. Didn't burn all the way up either. I pour small batches - 1 # of wax makes 29 tealights. I test burn at least 1 - sometimes 2 from each batch. I burn them in cups, out of cups, yadda yadda yadda! I have never had one not burn up beautifully. Has anyone started having trouble with GB464 wax? It's the only varialble - other than the customer. Also, does anyone know of anything environmental that can affect burning other than drafts and not enough oxygen - like in some tart warmers. I was wandering if humidity levels could affect anything - because both customers were North of my location (and that is NOT a Yankee joke). I hate to ramble but I am at my witts end. The first complaint was legit but I thought a "fluke" now the 2nd complaint within 2 weeks makes me thing supplies issue. PLEASE HELP! Jimmy & Kelly
