  8. Thanks for the reply Soapbuddy, So how do I keep it from overheating, this didn't happen in the other 2 batches. Do you think it was the FO? Any ideas would help me. I appreciate any input cause I wanna learn all I can about soapmaking. I'm addicted:yay:
  9. Disaster, Don't know what I did wrong:( Maybe someone could tell by the pics:confused: it's crumbly and the swirl didn't work I think cause it was so thick. Oh well back to the soap pot:laugh2:
  10. I did my 1st try at this:laugh2:Hopefully it will turn out:laugh2:here are the 1st pics I was told (she knows who she is) that this FO would trace fast Cedar and Saffron BCN No s**t. It was like pouring thick cake batter:confused: I hope I didn't just learn the meaning of seize in the soap world.:rolleyes2 Ok so since I made a boo-boo and posted in the B&B recipe place it won't let me upload the pics. I just want to add I used Kat's recipe for this.

  13. What is the diameter of your jar, what FO? what wick? sometimes I use a FO at 1oz PP and it's just too much, it will sweat. (Like Nag Champa)

  16. wow those certainly are pretty! Brambleberry has a Chai FO. I havn't used it though. I have some Chai I ordered on e-bay but I think it says not for B&B, She had the best musk I have ever smelled.

  20. Thank you, they are kinda pink/corral I'm sure they will change color. I am happy. It was like a whirling dervish:yay:in the kitchen, nobody new what to expect and my daughter had to help swirl the top
  21. OMG I did this today. Thanks Kyme, Luminous, and all the posters, I've read everything about doing these. I was really freaking for a minute or two :laugh2:or three. Any way it was straight and simple no color, cause I didn't know what to expect. They are Antique Sandlewood (CS) and it happened fast. Have I mentsioned you guys are KILLIN me cause I love this.
