  1. I tested 444 it has a wonderful ht, ugly as sin. I found the best was to pour when it was really slushy. I think it was about 35C when I poured it. For me with 444 its either frost or craters I couldnt get rid of both. I use cb 135 now and am happy no frost no holes no bumps great ht. Tammy
  2. Nadiap I did send you a pm but I will put it here too. I got the tape at coles its 1 cm wide on the roll. Its not as long a roll as Top said but meh. You can get it pretty much wherever they sell the commander hook system. Tammy
  3. I use the heavy duty 3M mounting tape in glass glow have not had it move yet. Love it. Tammy
  4. Hiya Jonsie Nah I cbb with the spigot and all that I just fill it up with a kilo or 2 and then just pour the right weight into pour pot on scales. I am a hobbiest and only do small amounts so that works for me. Tammy
  5. Its a sunbeam multi cooker. you can get it at the good guys for about $70 cash normally. I got mine at Casula Nadiap. Tammy
  6. Isnt that what feather looks like. I thought those lines look like the middle or "spine" of a feather. Tammy
  7. Hiya Jonsie I have a Sunbeam Multi cooker. Its basically the same thing. I got mine at The Good Guys (dunno if they in WA) but any electrical place should have cost about $69. Hope that helps you. If you look on the Natural Candle Supply site at the Equipment you can see it but dont buy from them cos they $20 more than you can get for cash at other places Tammy
  8. Hiya Nadiap At the moment I am still testing both 135 and 464 atm. I think the 464 has a slightly better ht but I cant justify shipping all the way from Perth to NSW when NCS is just there in Sydney. I agree the 135 does look much nicer after burning. I like the htp wicks they dont dance as much as the cdns do for me(no matter how much I wick down). Yes I am using 6% FO . Jasmine ugh I get a headache from that too. I like the ACS wicks in Lava Palm.
  9. Hiya I found the same thing with there wick size suggestion I drop the size 1 down from what they suggest and that is my starting point. I also had that grey thing happen with Satin Sheets (6%) from NCS in 135. It was pink now its grey and pink yuck. I also use htp. Maybe colour it blue..
  10. You could also try the universal additive from ACS. Its spose to help with the tops after burning and help with throw. Tammy
  11. you could try Aussie Soap Supplies for CO they are in Perth I think or WA somewhere. There site seems to be down atm so I couldnt check. I am not sure if they have room temp CO but would be worth a call if you really want to use CO. I dont use CO cos the candles got big shrooms from it. I am still fairly new to candle making so I just do what works for me. Tammy
  12. I really like the look of the second one with the hessian. I have to admit I am one of those that just "dont get" candles in jam jars. Tammy
  13. there is a few Soap suppliers around Google is a wonderful thing. There is aussiesoap supplies West Aust, heirloom West Sydney, Sydney Essential Oil have soap stuff, Think there is a few around Brisbane I dont make soap hubby does they just some that we have found Hope that helps Tammy
  14. Hiya Richard as a consumer to me a label is like a business signature. I look for the "Label" when buying things and get peeved if i cant find it cos they change the label then I buy something else. Thats just me dunno how many people there are like me though lol. Thats just my opinion for what its worth Tammy
  15. I have only been making candles for 5 months so maybe what I say means nothing but am having lots of FUN making them. All I had for the first candles I made was a piece of paper with general instructions on it. I lit it after about 6 hours and I was happy cos it "worked". Some times I think I read to much and I just confuse myself instead of making my own mistakes and learning from them. Go for it Tammy
  16. Im curious are you selling already? Cos this post reads (to me) that these are your first candles I mean no disrespect maybe I am just reading it wrong....... Tammy
