I also believe that the reason CS dont ship here is because NCS has an "agreement" with them and if they have one with NCS then there are probs other suppliers in other countries that have an "agreement" too. Wow that was a huge sentence. I would love to get my hands on some fo from places like peaks that dont ship int.....Is it really that much harder to ship int? Surely would be worth it. NG dont seem to have a problem along with others that I havnt tried yet. Lol Susan I just made some Black Cherry candles...Geez it stinks also mixed it with some very vanilla (gag)cos I cant stand that and have half a bottle to try use up. They both smell slightly better mixed together...who knows how it will smell when I burn it. The last order I got from ACS the boxes were that badly damaged I took photos before I even opened it. I think that I will just get the couple of FOs that I like from them and a few other things I get..besides it took over a week to get to me here in Toowoomba last time....I just dont want to wait that long NCS has it to me within 2 days..I miss being in NSW lol. Yep I noticed that they dropped their oil prices most are around the $25 for 500mls if only I could use that much oil..wish we could get 250 ml bottles here. I know you all need the big ones but this little hobbiest cant use it all that fast. Its a pity that NCS are always oos on glass as I think they have better quality and are packaged better.

you could check out www.candlemaking.com.au they have soy paraffin and palm. They have this stuff called uni soy that can be either container or votive depending on the additive you use. Havent tried it myself. Feather Palm makes awesome melts and that is what I use. For soy I mix 416 and pb. No frosting and great ht. Palm is much easier to use imo. I like making melts. They throw better than any candle I have made or bought. Could send you a few if you want :-) Wow that was a bit all over the place but you get what I mean...I must be tired

Hiya Jonsie, I too have had this problem mostly with the ACS wicks. I dont know why but they just dont burn as well and tend to shroom for me. I wish ncs would hurry up and get in the csns so I can test them.

Might have to see if I can hunt down a Phy.....ate (no idea how to spell that) Free over 200F one from the U.S. I am just a hobby person so I am prob out for any co ops as I wouldnt be able to buy huge amounts

yep any orders under $50 there is a p & h fee. Sucks when you just want some fo's or wicks. If you want to find out about palm wax and need a translator let me know my Hubby speaks fluent Indonesian/Malay.

Hiya Richard, I am wondering if you really HATE the metros, why use them. What about the square jars? The ones without the lid at ACS. To me the squares look classy and that label would look lovely on one. If I was looking to buy snobby candle it would be a square lol. Hope that makes sense...kinda sleep deprived today. As far as NCS are concerned they have been oos on honey pots since dec 09...bloody disgusting service and there shipping is sooo expensive. To worried about expanding into soap and b&b. Would be so good if we had decent supplier here on the east coast.

If there was a like button I would use it. They will look very classy with that jar and uncoloured wax.

Non Crystalising palm is not the be all and end all. It works for Richard and thats great but I got some and it was a terrible pita to use. On its own it makes one butt ugly candle after burning (worse than any soy I have used). I bought 5 kg of it to play around with but I wont waste my money again. Just goes to show what works for one does not mean it will work for you. It still has frosting when blended with 464 for me. I prefer GG when it comes to palm. I found 444 did leave the glass cleaner at the end than 464 and I think it has a better throw. Thats just my opinion.

Eucalyptus oil..it will take sticky off stuff, blue tack out of carpet, chewing gum out of hair and it smells nice and its cheap...well it is here lol.

You could try Natures Garden. They ship to here and a few other places. They ship to UK so perhaps they will there too. Email them they are super nice to deal with and very fast with shipping.

yep www.aussiecandlesupplies.com.au or www.naturalcandlesupply.com.au. FO is a bit hit and miss but I have found that most throw well. I buy FO from ACS NCS and NG. I am also going to try Daystar and Backwoods. There is a shop in Brisbane called www.bigtreesupplies.com.au they are really expensive but they carry alot of NG FO so you can get a sample from them and try it then order the big bottle from NG at the cheaper rate if it works in your wax. You will save money in the long run cause I have a few 16 oz bottles that just dont throw in my wax...lucky I make soap aswell :-). HTH

Hiya Richard, Just thought I would let you know that Heirloom in Penrith have uv inhib. I am not sure if its the same as you use but I just saw it when I was doing my soap order and thought I would let you know.

My son handles some pretty mean chemicals at school in chemistry he is 16. I would be confident in letting him soap as long as he has on the right safety gear including safety glasses and closed in shoes. The soap queen has a video on her channel that shows what lye can do to skin. I made my kids watch it. They have a healthy respect for it and do not come interupt us (dh and I) when we are making soap. I dont think I would let my 13 yo daughter she is just not mature enough.
