  1. Hi, I made a air freshener and tested it in my truck. I forgot the bag had some oil on it from testing. Anyway the oil had seeped through the bag and etched my plastic shelf in the truck. MY FAULT BUT It brought my attention to if the air freshener could seep oil when it is left in the vehicle ( in the heat) and cause the same problem. What do you think :rolleyes2 Damage it's that bad but I am glad it happened to me instead of a customer.

  4. Ok, WOW, How about some more confusion Ok for the wax I am working with supplier suggested to pour very cool the cooler the better to help avoid frosting Another respected tech help said: Pour hotter and preheat jars abit. How about you guys? What factors affect your soy to frost besides certain FOs.? At this point I am thinking about not coloring my candles and staying white. Thanks for your input.
  5. Ok, I don't know if this is possible or not but lets try :highfive: I know that in the mist of the busy season your favorite fragrances supplier may be backorderd. So I am thinking :rolleyes2 Has anyone been happy with another supplier for the same fragrance. ( comparable) What I am trying to say If Peaks is your main supplier for say Green Tea and it is on back order. and you have to have it Do you have a comparable supplier? Maybe not in price or shipping location by to get you through the busy order time until Peaks has restocked. Just a thought. Brooke

  21. Hello again all, Can't help it! More questions LOL What is your experiences with the different ways to dye your candles. The only thing I have used is liquid concentrated and liquid dye for soy. They have worked ok, but I don't have anything else to compare them to or know if they were causing a problem ex. clogging up the wick / What would a clogged wick look like? :rolleyes2 I know what mushrooming is but not sure about any other problems. All the colors have blended fine no seperation . Always thankful for your input Brooke

  23. Hi you guys, You know the reason I asked this question is during all this testing this week plus weekend, I just happen to pick a FO that is giving me a headache. It is Fresh Linen ( Lucky me ) Didn't want to change it because of comparison of waxes that I started. I'll just tough it out at this point. So thinking how it is affecting me just wondering how most customers might respond to certain FOs. How do you handle that :rolleyes2 Do you exchange that product for them ? I know for myself I would hate to spend money on something I can't enjoy Well I will get back to the assspirin :rolleyes2 LoL I mean tessssting Have a good one Brooke
  24. Hi, When you are making tarts is the FO load the same as for wicked candles? Thinking it is but double checking Any recommendation on a wax to test or any additives needed? Not sure which wax to use that is a good thrower ? I have on hand to test Harmony Velvet 6006 the rest are to soft/ unless we mix Always thankful for you help:) Brooke
