Hi Henryk, Sorry, it has taking me awhile to answer you back. For the 6006, I haven't tested that wax yet, but it is on its way along with about four others LOL I will feel like the mad scientist this week. You should see my testing table FOs everywhere along with wicks to boot. The kids are back in school so it is a waiting game on the supplies than I can get to work. I am curious about your testing of the new & improved advanced wax. I have the old version here/ but it doesn't have the hot throw I am looking for. The cold wasn't bad with 260 vybar added. Wondering about wick choice maybe that will increase the hot throw? I have currently been using the HTP with CB- advanced ( old version). I think I will pull some wicks today and retest the hot throws while I am waiting on those supplys. Been great talking to you ! Happy Pouring Brooke

Its ok Terri, I know what you are getting at. I may have been miss leading in my experience (still learning but not green). Been playing around with candles since January. Started just with wicking and meltpools on certain jars. Tried several FOs and I know who to order from know. I am just unhappy with the wax I have here. Ready for a change. As far as having product ready by this fall. I am content with 7 great FOs one style jar. My first customers will be family and friends who are waiting patiently. I am staying focused and what ever I present to my customers will have to pass my test and expectations first. I am aware of insurance and have that info. ( company) will apply when time comes. I am a Limited Liabilty Company / So I am hanging in there and learning as I go. I appreciate your advice and did not take it as discouragement but as a helpful heed. After all that is why I have asked you guess for your advice / your experiences are valuable to me to get me started in the right direction. Keeping Focus:) Brooke

Hi, In my research to compare waxes available out there. I have noticed some of you went through a awful time in Dec.- Feb. with bad batches of wax. Was this the first time something like this has ever happened (just a fluke)? For those of you that have been making candles for years, have you seen this before? Does is only affect soy products? Wondering how you handled such a ordeal:confused: Did you ever get reimbursed for the bad wax? In Learning Mode LOL:D Brooke

Good Morning Girls, Boy, do you guys get up early. Looking at the time on your post reply. It is 5:30 here at home. Thank you for your advice. I will have to check out the CB-30 calwax. Where can I find this wax? I am in Indiana it would be nice to find a distributor close. I understand about testing and it does take time:( But I am really going to push to have finished product this fall. The kids will be back in school and I will have most of the day to play in candles The only thing that has me slowed down is my budget:eek: Man it sure gets tough order order order. I think the worst part is trying to keep as few as suppliers as possible. Seems when I find one thing I need than I am missing two others and have to go somewhere else. Hi again, When I am looking at manuacturers website for their wax info. they never state how much soy is in their Par. blend products. Has anyone else had this problem of finding out? Of course others like 50/50 are not what I am looking at. Things like Harmony blend Comfort blend vintage blend Tell me what you think;)

Hi Holly, I guess when we refer to scent throw/ I am thinking will the house up, or three rooms. I read a relpy on a post once that their candle could be smelt outside if the window was opened. That has happened to me with a candle melt from another candle business ( which was not all soy maybe part) they even use zinc wicks in their jar candles. Which makes me lean toward the par. blends So this is what i am searching for I think it is my wax right now not the FOs.

Hi, I know that scent throw is always the question:confused: But there are so many of you that have had the chance to compare waxes. I am looking for a good wax to test with. All I have tested so far is Ecosoya CB- Advanced , a 50-50 blend and a enchanted lites wax. Still haven't found what i am looking for. Found great scents that i know just need better wax to throw them right if that makes sense. Looking for the Knock your socks off, fill the house, clean burn, wet spots i am not concerned and doesn't have to be all soy. Hey am i asking to much LOL:p What is your comparison on the soy/vs. par. blends I feel like i am leaning toward par. blends Is there any soy user that can give me advice on a wax to try? Hanging in there
