  3. Well done, it's very nice! How does it smell?
  4. Very pretty! I am sure that the girls will love them!
  5. Wonderful soaps! You did a very good job here! I love them both!
  6. Yes I do, and those I have are working fine. I've got the hearts and the flowers. I read in a german forum that some stars aren't too too good to get them out. Anyway, you need to be patient, put the molds in the freezer for an hour or so, and then wait just a few minutes and - you're done. Makes very nice guests soaps. I also have the wooden molds, but I chose the one with only three drawers. I got 16 pieces of soap out of one drawer. Plus I do have the wooden soap dishes which are cheap here in Europe, too - 99 cents. They are just fine. I am only 3 miles away from Ikea - so that helps a lot.
  7. Again - thank you much! I appreciate your kindness and helpfulness here. Yes, soap making is now an addiction to me, but it would have never happened without my true dear friend dublon who is also a member of this board. If she hadn't shown me her soaps and given me good advice I had never dared to start. So please don't mind if I give her a big big hug here and say 'Thank you!' again!
  8. ... knowing your wonderful soaps - I'd like to introduce myself and show you that I am already infected with soapmaking. I almost don't dare - it's not wonderful results or something but I am getting there, slowly. What I do know - I love making soaps. So if you want to have a look at what I have made since the beginning of February, please have a look here: http://www.websettling.de/Seife/ I also hope that I do not do wrong posting a link here. It's my own private webspace, and I put up this page up to show soaps to friends, family, and other soapmakers. I'm not selling soaps, nor do I intend. It's in german, but one can click on the pictures to enlarge them. Thanks for looking.
  9. Though being still a newbie, here's my thoughts: Leave it as is, cut it and I bet you'll love the pieces! And yes, the colours are pretty!
  10. No - not chunk! It's really cute!
  11. Hi Lindsay, I'm also a newbie and made 4 or 5 soaps up to now. This forum is a good place to learn, and people are nice and friendly. - I bet you'll like it here and get help when you need it.
  12. Those colours do look - yummy! And beautiful swirls again!:smiley2:
  13. Carole, I do like your packaging, too. It's very pretty and personal.:smiley2:
  14. I really love the look of your soaps! Well done again.
  15. Again and again - your soaps are all so beautiful!
  16. I'm new to this forum, I am a newbie to soapmaking, and - sorry, I really do not understand what this discussion is all about. Didn't we all read about safety instructions, about how to... I simply do not understand why someone doesn't protect him- or herself knowing what stuff one is working with. Even my teenage daughters wouldn't be that thoughtless and all. Sorry, but I don't have much compassion with people who should know better. At least you are reading this forum, so you should know better.
  17. After seeking (and finding) the Green Irish Tweed which my hubby grabbed when we shared the contents of your package....:rolleyes2 ... I'd agree with woody and manly. And, one might add 'fresh'! It's a very nice scent - why did I let him take it?
  18. Very well done, my Dear! I just love your soaps!
