I am testing some containers,and they are burning good only if you keep the wicks trim short.I tried burning without triming,and they smoked really bad.I am afraid if I wick down the wick will drown out.It's hard to get it across to people to trim the wick.I don't know if I should wick down or not.What would you suggest.I hope I have explained this right.They are 16 oz apot jars,two 51z's,JS123 wax.   7. Yes it was water.The wax had harden,dug it out of pot,and puddles of water in pot.
  8. Can you believe I ordered four cases of it,maybe not all of it has water.It is JS123.I like this wax,and I got a special when ordering four cases.What does it do to a candle if the wax has water in it? Anna
  9. for wax to have water in it?I ordered some new wax(differant than what I been using),and it has water in it.How I know,I melted some of it,had to turn it off and leave home for awhile.when I returned home I dug the wax out of the presto,because I forgot how much was in it.in the bottom of the pot was water.Is this normal?   10. Laura,you add fo at 200 degrees, and it don't burn your fo off?How much fo do your use per lb? Anna
  11. everyone add fo to there wax.I use J50,I add my fo at 175 degrees.I was wanting to know if that is to hot.I am making jar candles.10 % fo to a lb of wax. Thanks,Anna
  12. and said to send the jar and he would build a wick setter to fit my jar.I did not mean to bash him or his company.I was just wondering if it was me or if someone else was having trouble.I thought it was nice of him to email me.I will send him my jar. Anna
  13. I think I'll send mine back to them to fit my jar,that is such a hassel.My warning labels want cover the wicks on bottom,they are so far apart.GRRRRRRRRR. Anna
  14. I am using this to wick my 20 oz apot jars.I really like this gadget for the speed of wicking,but I think it is wicking the wicks to far apart.When I moved the wick tubes in closer,the wicks are to close.Is there anyone else use this in apoth jars? Thanks,Anna P.S. it is the double one
