  1. I found a couple of clamshells in my stock a few days ago that are at least a year old- Hydrangea, Mulled Cider and Sugar cookie. I poured those same scents into new clamshells two days ago and the only one that didn't morph into a skunky smell is the hydrangea. The old ones are completely fine. I'm thinking something with their clamshells has had to have changed-none of those scents are morphing into anything funky in the plastic portion cups either.
  2. Hyacinth Chula Orchid (Just Scent) Honeysuckle Vine Lilac Breeze Tulip Sunflower (all from Millcreek) Sweet Pea (peak) Hydrangea Heaven (NG) Orange Blossom (Snowtop)
  3. Yeah...she's a little behind. Still waiting on my order from May 2005. Run far far away from that site and don't look back!
  4. I got the VBN in the last prebuy. I was not impressed with it OOB (yes...I know, I know, don't judge OOB) but I FINALLY got it in wax last week. Made tarts and that sucker has been on my warmer for 5 days non-stop and is still going. IT'S AWESOME and it's the most exact dupe I've ever tried. This is my favorite I'll definitely be emailing you, Wendy. I MUST have more! LOL
  5. The ones at Sams are much cheaper, but they're not polypropylene. I believe that Ace Mart is one that I contacted when searching for them, and theirs are not polypro either.
  6. I just poured Vanilla Bean Noel in a clamshell from Millcreek last night...smells like a skunk! Bummer...glad I only did one
  7. Food Service Direct is where I get mine too- you'll want the polypropylene ones for melts- I think the brand is Conex. I just started doing mine this way last week and poured one super hot just to test it, no melting or warping at all. I LOVE them...makes pouring melts easier than ever- I love not having to unmold!
  8. Peaks sugar plum berries is nice. For sugar cookie I've used both MC's gourmet sugar cookie and Sissy's from BCS- BCS blows MC's out of the water IMO.
  9. I'm guessing you're talking about the plastic portion/souffle cups. www.foodservicedirect.com has these made from polypropylene which should not suck the scent out. Like someone else mentioned, this has been a recent topic- here is the link. http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36450
  10. It's taken anywhere from 1-4 days for them to invoice me if I"m paying by paypal. It's worse this time of year since it's the busy season. I had the same issue with BCS not long ago :undecided
  11. I emailed and asked the company before I ordered if the polypro cups had a #5 on them, or what markings were on the bottom. They told me that it had the 5 along with a "pp" under it- I'm going to assume that pp stands for polypropylene but I don't know. The ones my Sam's sell are much cheaper too-ours sells the solo brand and after looking around and asking questions from different suppliers, I was told solo's cups are polystyrene. I'm not sure what that means in terms of durability and scent retention, but I figured the #5 and polypropylene was a much better option. HTH!
  12. Yes- just the black electrical tape. I stretch the tape when I'm putting it on so it's really tight- not sure if that makes a difference or not, but it makes me feel better:cool2:
  13. The cups I bought have a 5 on the bottom...I asked before ordering:D
  14. I have tried Cinnamon Buns- Good throw, not my favorite cinnamon buns FO though (I LOVE snowtops version) Fresh Linen- My favorite linen type so far- love this one. It's strong but not overpowering Vanilla Passion- probably my favorite vanilla so far, great throw! White Tea and Ginger- dead on duplication from B&BW, awesome in b&b products and I got a killer throw in both soy and paraffin with it. Warm Apple Pie- very nice! I got a good throw from it, not a huge one, but good! I just got samples in of Casaba Mist and Wild Mountain Honey. The honey is a beautiful scent. I keep catching myself going to the bottle just to sniff it. It's a honey scent but it's got some floral notes in it, really nice OOB. Casaba Mist I'm undecided on- OOB it smells like Peaks' tuscan nights to me.
  15. When I ship anything that might leak, I put electrical tape all around the seals. It doesn't exactly look pretty, but it's easy for my customers to remove and I've never had a leak.
  16. Well good...because I ordered before I got a response! LOL Thanks ladies
  17. The only one I've tried on your list is Purple Haze- it's very nice. Great throw too!
  18. How does this one compare to a clean cotton/country clothesline/fresh linen? I have all of those and LOVE the clean scents, but I'm scared of duplicating something I already have.
  19. I've tried Scandalous and Satin Sheets. I think the Satin Sheets is nasty- I have another oil from MC by that name that smells very different but it's MUCH nicer. Scandalous is great though, it's one of my favorites!
  20. Peaks Black Canyon and MC's Magenta Nectar. They both literally make me dry heave. There's quite a few others that bother me, but they sell well so I suck it up. But the two mentioned above I will never pour again- luckilly they were not good sellers at all.
  21. I use this one and love it! No problems getting any FO's to blend at all. It does have a slight alcohol odor to it, but it goes away quickly once it's sprayed.
  22. I ordered late yesterday afternoon and on the confirmation it said it was estimated to ship on the 14th with a delivery date of the 22nd. I'm hoping they just overshoot their estimates! You might be closer to them- I think from that area of the country things normally take 3-4 days to get here from UPS. I hope yours come faster if you need them! LOL
