  15. I have used C-3 in the past and bear in mind that all types of soy wax can develope frosting but after I swithched to 415 plain soy I rarely get frosting. for me every candle poured with c-3 had major frosting issues. I personally won't ever use it again.

  18. Hello- I will soon be opening a website for selling candles & melters but I have no idea how to dermine shipping charges - do most of you charge flat rate? actual rate? Offer special rates for large orders? Any help will be appreciated- Thanks!
  19. I have seen some Bean Pod candles in area store so about a year ago I deciced to take the lid off of one- the first thing I noticed was the wick was not centered and looking closer I did see some frosting.Even the big guys have some issues!
  20. I remelted these and poured at 165- put a box on top of them so they would not cool too quickly and got the same results- sink holes and major frosting! I think after testing the GW44 and GW449- I have decidie to stick with 415 plain soy- it is a lot less finicky and has always worked well for me.
  21. Thanks so much for starting this thread- I have only used two suppliers but I now will try some new ones!
  22. Forgot to add I poured at 155- the ones without color were wonderful! Smooth tops no holes- did not work with color for me!
  23. Over the past few weeks I made three GW449 testers in three different scents WITHOUT color. Last night I did two more both in a purple color so they had a lot of dye- one set uo very chunky looking and the other had a small simk hole. When I used the heat gun on the sink hole I realized it was a huge crater! Both have frosting on almost the entire jar!
  24. I am poring my first tester of 449 tonight - I think I will pour at 165- this seems to be the consensus so far.
