  1. I read that adding a drop of dish soap to the vodka spray recipe will help the water and oil mix better- does anyone know if this will foam when you shake it? Thanks!
  2. Does the dish soap make it foam when you shake it up?
  3. I have been making body/linen sprays but I have customers asking for room spray- how much F/O would I add for a 4 oz bottle of room spray?
  4. I have always exclusively worked with soy wax but want to try my hand at the rolled Cinnabuns. Can any one tell me which paraffin wax is the best to use for this? Thanks!!
  5. I have always worked with pure soy- never parraffin. I have a woman that contacted me about making parrafin tarts for her. The smallest amoungt of paraffin wax I could find was a 10 lb slab- way more than I need and I do not know if it is the right type for tarts anyway. Would someone have a 1 lb paraffin sample that would be suitable for tarts that I could buy? I can make an instant payment by Pay Pal. Thanks!
  6. You may have already made your decision but I too have to say ICS Lilac Blossoms( the former Snowtop) I have not tried any others but this one is sooo realistic and has a tremendous throw- these candles fly off of the table into my customer's hands!
  7. Not sure I can save this batch- it looks like a bath bomb river now! It is very wet- anyone know if it will eventually dry- or should I just throw it out now?
  8. What a great idea! Good to know it is not a total loss! Thanks!
  9. I finally decided to try my hand at bath bombs- oh boy! I mixed up half of a recipe I found on this board and every thing was going fine until I thought the mixture looked too dry- spritzed it with witch hazel and..... you guessed it they started fizzing in a few spots. So I quickly started shaping them into balls as I did not have a mold- looked like it was going to work. I checked them about 20 minutes later and they are growing like crazy. Look more like bath cookies now! LOL
  10. The auction did not say it came with a liner- hopefully I will be lucky and it does come eWth instructions! Thanks!!
  11. Thanks so much! I am off to look!
  12. I have been dying to make soap but I am just too afraid of the lye. I decided to try rebatching- I know I am cheating!. I bought some unscented gaotmilk soap from a soap maker- a wood mold on ebay and a soap cutter on ebay- and now I discovered I really don't know how to use the mold once it gets here! I think I read to line it with freezer paper or parchment but also something about a template for the liner? Did not quite understand that part. So how do I line the mold and with what? Thanks so much!
  13. Thanks! I will check out Essential Wholesale!
  14. Thank you! I am going to check Essential Wholesale.
  15. it seems I don't. I had found a distilled water/witch hazel room spray recipe- I did not know what to preserve it with. Someone was kind enought to post what some suitable preservative would be- one of the choices was Germall. I found Germall plus at WSP- but in their description it say it is not suitable for spray or aerosols! Now I am still not sure what to use! Help!!!
  16. Thanks Jami! That's exactly what I needed to know!
  17. Thanks everyone for the info- I am still not sure what to preserve with though- I think I am a little confused. It's good to know that if using any oil it will make floors slick! I guess what I am looking for is what to preserve a Distilled water/witch hazel combination.
  18. I want to make room sprays using the distilled water and witch hazel recipe- do I need to use a preservative? if so what do I use? Thanks!
  19. I am so new to this I have to ask- are you saying that instead of vodka the room sprays can be made with cymethlicone or fractionated coconnut oil? Is there some room spray recipes posted on this board?
  20. Oh My that is good to know!! I think the woman I bought the recipe from did not mention that - in fact I am pretty sure she did not have one.
