  1. Really? I can't get this to throw in my paraffin blend. I was bummed cause it smells great OOB.
  2. Those are neat, I have never seen those before.
  3. I agree, it looks almost jade on my computer. Just beautiful!
  4. wowzers, those lables look wonderful. Very professional, nice job!
  5. Those look way better than my attempts at swirling. Like you, I think I had my wax too hot.
  6. ooooh, those look wonderful! Soaping beer is on my list...but DH keeps drinking it before I can soap it
  7. Beautiful! Chunkies are my favorite to make as well.
  8. Genius! That is way easier than constantly using the freezer paper!
  9. In our store we have 230 in paraffin, 150 in soy and 80 in soap. Our website has even more cause we ran out of room in the store. Like Scented said...someone is always going to ask for that one scent you don't have. No matter how many you offer.
  10. Thanks for the heads up, I always scan my calls these days.
  11. Pies, pillars and incense. I have a festival next month that I'm stocking up for. Have a great weekend everyone!
  12. OK, I'm not understanding the lid thing. I mean, I understand the concept but the ones on that site do not show what size they are. Do they come flat and able to be sized some how to different sized pillars? Forgive my stupidness :embarasse
  13. Wouldn't that open him up to all kinds of copy right/liability issues? He is using their labels, right?
  14. A crew of 10 to do all the work for me Seriously, my top 4 must haves (besides the lotion ingredients) would be: - Stainless steel "lab" - One kick butt accuarte scale - Large glass bowls for measuring - A honkin' big mixer
  15. I agree. I have been in business since 1999 but didn't open a website until 2002. I didn't want to go to all that expense and time until I knew if my biz was going to take off or not. GL, I hope it all works out for you.
  16. BCS isn't even offering it anymore right now. I'm on the hunt for a new one
  17. Those are very pretty. I love the colors and I bet they smell divine.
  18. I paint mine on too, never really measured it. I can't imagine it is all that much though.
  19. a good price on the electric cord assembly & silicone light bulbs for electric candles? I found one place locally but I don't like their prices . Can anyone please suggest some places to compare prices with? Thanks a bunch!
  20. IMO they are not huge direct profit makers. They were however a few other things for us when we offered them: 1) Impulse buy. We had them at the counter so people would see them when paying. We sold ours for $3.00. 2) Brought new customers in our store looking specifically for these because the ones you buy in the stores around here are crap. :tiptoe: 3) Great freebie or give-away. Better than a tart because not all customers have tart burners, but most have cars :smiley2: So, in a roundabout way they made us money and some new customers. HTH
  21. Thanks for the heads up on the service. I hate their terms. Most of the selections they don't let you choose the color. Why should I just take what they send. What about consistancy? If I offer a particular shape in one color (cause that is what they deceided to send me) and then next time I order it comes in a different color it gets confusing to the customers. I tried the whole color the white ones and that was a PITA
  22. I really miss Bell & trading. You could pick the colors for each shape that you wanted and you could buy them by the dozen. I have actually cut these from my line because I have not found a replacement company that offers both of those features. Shame, cause these sold good for me.
