  1. http://www.southernsoapers.com/ I hope this is ok to post here
  2. If so, what are your opinions of the advantages of doing so? I'm struggling with this because I HAVE been washing them but I feel that it taking too much time. I was thinking of just doing a quick wipe out of the inside with a microfiber towel??? Thanks
  3. Yep, I have had to deal with some real a-holes at ours, they are usually gossiping or complaining about union dues or some other thing. We were in Key West a few months ago and I bought a few things and knew it would not fit into our carry on so I shipped the stuff back home in a flat rate. Now I know it's laid back there but it was the BEST service I have EVER received at ANY branch. They should use that office as a training location on how to treat customers…you know the ones that enable you to HAVE a job that you complain about.
  4. Do you get much soot from them? I am testing with a 7% fo load in a 2 1/2" diam container with a cd4 and 5. Doing pretty well but seems to soot a bit but minimal mushrooming. Have you tried many other wicks in 4630? Can I ask what you liked about the CD that made you pick that one? Sorry for all the ???'s but I seem to have tried soooo many wicks and settled on the zinc but now I'm not so sure and would like to hear more about CD in this wax because so many others use them only in soy or parasoy. Thanks again
  5. I was thinking(again) of switching from zincs because of mushrooming and trying cd's in 4630. Does anyone here use CD in straight 4630? Thanks

  7. Your candles look nice but I think I would get some better photos for your site. I don't think all the lace and silk flower etc makes me want to BUY one of the candles. Also I know many make candles out of their homes but if you are looking to turn up the sales, especially to businesses I would not state that. You can still say you are a small hand poured company but they don't need to know you make them in your kitchen etc. As a former retail buyer that would be a turn off to me. Good luck, I know palm for me was very hard to work with and I give you tons of credit for making them. I wish you success.
  8. Can you tell me any advantages/disadvantages of selling on either. Thanks
  9. Has anyone tested any Chai Teas and which one do you like the best? Thanks
  10. They are doing pre-buys for fo's that will ship Jan 16th, they currently have only 5 scents but its a start.
  11. As some of you may have read from my other thread I am experimenting with double wicking. I have heard that the wicks need to be 1" apart…does that mean the wick itself should have a 1"space between them or the wick clips should be adhered 1" apart? Thanks
  12. Thanks everyone, I'm glad I have something to start with. I may end up still single wicking them but I just want to try and see what results I get with the doubles. BTW the jar is aprox a bit over 3 1/2" diam.
  13. I have been trying to work with natural waxes again and I have found that I get a good burn with a cd 10 and a cd 12 for some scents but I want to try double wicking again so the question is if a 10 or 12 are the ones for a single wick where should I start for a double??? cd 3 or 4??? Thanks
  14. dumb question…does the soy beads absorb the fo or just coat the wax?
  15. explain why it's illegal on facebook, I've not heard of this before just wondering...
  16. Does anyone know of any supplier who sells a Midnight Jasmine Dupe? Thanks
  17. I ended up never ordering from them myself, I called with a question and emailed them letting them know that I would like to place and order but needed to answer a question first…they never once emailed me or called me back. Enjoy going out of business folks because that where you will be soon! I will only do business with companies that have great customer service and this place is the worst.
