    One word does it all. EXCELLENT, you have done a beautiful job, only one point I would suggest. Try the next one with a border around it. I've been playing around as well and I do think a border does add a lot to them. Please understand, I'm no expert.

    You've lost it for sure girl. Tell ya what, "I've got a big old galvanized bath tub here, do you want me to ship it down so you can use it for a mold for yer next one?" I think it's 3 feet in diameter, should be perfect. All kidding aside, it's a beauty as always.

    ordinary computer paper then apply Glue Stick glue and stick them on

    Man oh man, they are really great. I'm so envious, I have a bunch of flowers, have the canes made but waiting for the tacky wax. If I can do my first ones any where HALF as good as yours I'll be very happy "THEY ARE EXCELLENT"

    Okay Okay Okay. I DID IT. After three pours and watching the wax run out of the mold, "did I quit"??? No way Jose, I may be dumb, but I ani't stooopid. I got a bright idea. I always dip my wicks in wax before using them> I thought,"what the H..." I'm gonna use an unwaxed wick and try for the fourth time. I even added a titch of mold seal right on the hole, taped 'er up and I'll be damned. "it worked". It's beenA ROUGH DAY AROUND HERE, THE WIFE HAD TO FINALLY LEAVE THE ROOM, THE LANGUAGE WAS JUST TOO MUCH FOR HER. (LMAO)

    I print my own labels and give 'em a good coating with my trusty glue stick and it seems to work for me glue them right on the candles

    ALUMINUM TAPE.....BLAH. I poured trial candles twice and it ain't worth a damn. The first one I thought oh well, put more tape and try again. WRONG// the damn wax took all of three minutes to run out. I gotta go to HOME DEPOT and try to get metal tape as you folks so graciously suggest.

    I couldn't find anything called metal tape. I bought some silver ALUMINUM tape, is that the same thing that yer all talking about????

    I knew I could rely on ALL of my friends on here. Thank you all so much for your input. Looks like I'm off to Home Depot tomorrow to get me some metal tape.

    How in the world do I stop the damn wax running out the bottom (top) of my metal pillar molds. It's makin me crazy. I use the little screw and then I slap the mold stuff on it, pack it all around and stick it down real good and out comes the wax every time. PLEASE HELP ME before I go completely nuts.

    SORRY. Ain't no frog here in Canada. Maybe it's too damn cold and that's why I can't see it. The candles look good, "even without the frog" Maybe I need new tri focals.

    I think it is probably just part of the learning process. When you've been making candles as long as me, you'll figure all this stuff out. I really am sorry that you have to learn all these little tricks the hard way, but once you get the hang of it I'm sure you'll enjoy making the odd candle. (smile).... actually smile is no good, it should be ROFLMAO
