  2. ty !! whats great about the soapsicles ...if your kid has one of those puppet type bath mitts, they can put the soapsicle inside the mitt...thats what my boy Logan does he plays with it and then when its time to get washed its so easy to soap that mitt up and get him clean LOL
  3. thanks all i made the margarita for a friend who has a tropical theme in her bathroom, i made the lime and a lemon for on her counter top
  4. all the bombs look wonderful!!! bath bombs are really a learn as you make mistakes project i check the weather before i even attempt to start on bombs LOL all i can say is ...practice practice practice and if you do mess up, hey you always have cool fizzy lumpy powder to toss into the tub
  5. http://www.soaphutch.com theyre very pricey but im sure you can get ideas on how to make your own
  6. some M&P soapies this is moonspice and pear goats milk mp chocolate milk, cotton candy and cherry bomb soapsicles lime margarita bath salts-has a thin layer of clear mp over the top to hold the salts in the glass
  7. has anyone ever used one of these? or even heard of these? I found a link to these..not sure if i can post it or not these things look awesome...and pricey!!
  8. it should have instructions on the container for making icing with meringue powder its something like 3 tbl spoons meringue powder with 6 tbl spoons of water, mix with handmixer til fluffy and add powdered sugar til stiff peaks form etc..
  9. add colors to a bit of oil, drizzle ontop...stir with a wisk, then put on rubber gloves and rub it between your hands this works well for distributing color for bath bombs too
  10. yeah i definitely dont like lavender buds in my bath, even the kids were a little freaked out and said they looked like bugs but if you want to put the buds in your bombs i would suggest to the user to put the bomb in a sachet bag or something and then drop into the water
  11. very pretty soaps, theyre all lovely and look delicate
  12. all you have to do is give the cup a little squeeze (you see the air go around it) and the soap loosens and comes right off, pull the straw out and you have bath salts with a soap
  13. i make bubblers too, i love em!! if you get a really dark color you could always do a dual bomb, half dark color, half noncolored it will mellow out the dark think of color combo's too - yellow/blue=green pink/blue=purple
  14. bath salts, milk baths and labeling... gotta wait for payday to order some much needed supplies
  15. what type of colorant are you using hon?
  16. ok i have food and drink on the mind again browsing the dollar store today and picked up these little plastic glasses...thought at first hmm..these would be cute with some metalic foil and bath melts in a cello baggy ahhh but then the lil one asked for chocy milk LOL Lemonade - the top is MP clear scented lemonade of course, i cut cubes and placed them as ice cubes then poured over them (my picture taking is horrid) Chocolate Milk- the top is MP goats milk with a bit of choc milk FO in it
  17. youre kidding right? that is a beautiful soap!!! it looks rich and elegant
  18. awesome Scented, thanks im waiting on a shipment of citric acid, experimenting with whipping some M&P and then i'll get intouch with you
  19. im a total bath bomb nut!! i like round bombs, but i cant really get my mixture packed into those christmas ornaments the way i like. they do work and make pretty nice size balls. my pref. is a piece of pvc pipe and a wooden dowel, i put my mixture into the pipe..take the wooden dowel and pack that puppy about 3 or 4 times really hard, if i want different colors i put a tablespoon of 1 color pack it down lightly, tablespoon of another color pack it down, give it a little push with your wooden dowel and out it pops, you get a tablet shaped bomb but theyre pretty too and packed so firm mine NEVER crumble its a really cheap way to get a good bath bomb press and pvc comes in small to large, you just gotta make sure you get a wooden dowel that fits into your pipe
  20. looks lovely ..cant wait to see it cut
  21. 2 very pretty bars..i especially love the lemon it looks yummy
  22. wow thank you all so much!!! Im going to try for a blueberry and cherry pie look and once i get that down i'll show you all and maybe someone could help me in the "class" instruction
