  1. I use a mold too. I have a friend who makes them by hand but I just don't have the time or patience to do that.
  2. These lids are the vented daisy lids so unfortunately you can't put a label on the lid.
  3. I just made a hang tag to attach to it. I printed instructions on how to use the smelly jelly (since people here had no idea what a smelly jelly is) along with the scent name, etc. I tied it around the neck with a thin ribbon.
  4. I like the silicone molds better for wax because they are more detailed, and easier to unmold. They do last a long time too even though they are expensive. The makers tend to shape them using an actual object so that they get all the little details in the finished product. It's just my own personal preference. I know alot of people use the cheaper plastic ones and are successful with them. I don't think they last as long or are as detailed, and they are harder for me to get out of the molds than the silicone which just pop out. Like I said, it's just my own personal preference. I'm not trying to knock the plastic ones for those who like to use those instead.
  5. I have purchased from flexiblemolds.com and also purchased from midwestsiliconemolds.com and vanyulay.com. All great places to purchase from. Excellent molds and customer service.
  6. I got the new FO sample pack she offered last week and most of them smell pretty good OOB. My favorite is peppermint bark. I smell more chocolate than peppermint but a very nice combo. I don't usually like to judge oob so I am looking forward to getting these into wax next week.
  7. Very nice! I just got a sample of that FO and can't wait to try it!
  8. I will be ordering soon also. Would love to get them all but I have to use some self control. They all sound so good!
  9. Same with me. I had never even thought to transfer to glass bottles. I have too many bottles due to my FO addiction to try that. I just store in a closed cupboard out of sunlight.
  10. Absolutely gorgeous! It looks so real! Fantastic job!
  11. They could possibly leak wax out of the bottom also. I tried that with some decorative metal tins before and had a mess. I know there's got to be a way to seal them first but I just never tried them again.
  12. I agree, everything is so nice, and just love the vibrant colors!
  13. Doglover, where on his website does he state that his oils are closeouts and once they are gone, they are gone? That was nice of him to tell you that, but he sure did dupe the rest of us into thinking the oils were his regular line like any other supplier and that we'd be able to get them again. There are several suppliers who do offer closeout oils and that is fine because they are upfront about them and it is up to us to decide whether to purchase them or not. I for one would rather have a consistent product than buy a whole bunch of closeout, possibly inferior oils, and waste alot of money on them. I spend too much time and money on testing to only be able to get one bottle of a FO before it disappears from his website.
  14. I'm with you Dee. I am just one of the little guys who very rarely would order $150 at one time. I had ordered some samples during their sale. Don't think I will waste my time trying to test them to see if I had liked them as is very unlikely I will re-order. Too bad for them as not everyone is a big time company. There are plenty of other FO suppliers out there to purchase from who don't have a minimum and who I have done business with before and can depend on.
