  1. I am attempring to make some wooden rose flower arrangements (and I realize I am not so great at arranging flowers!) LOL Anyway, I had someone ask for fake water in the vase, so I bought some "Wonder Water" at a craft store. It's a removable/reusable gel that you heat up, pour, and let it resolidify. I swear this stuff reminds me of when I've had gel candles in the past. It comes in a plastic bottle, and you put the bottle in hot (almost boiling) water until it liquifies, then open bottle, pour into vase, wait 15 minutes for it to start cooling, put flower stems in, and let solidify overnight. Has anybody used this stuff before? It was pretty pricey, almost $9 for 7oz. I think I might just try getting some candle gel and trying it.
  2. You can easily get around the right-click thing. BUT... it does deter casual users from taking your images.
  3. LOL- good point! It doesn't have to be local, though- that was just one thought I had, was to teach someone local to do them for me, or else find someone who sells them wholesale. I'm near Chicago.
  4. I am considering getting out of dipping bears and other critters myself, but would like to still offer some at craft shows during the holidays. Does anybody wholesale them? I would be looking for bears, cats, dogs, and maybe a few more animals. I would be looking for soy wax and really high quality. I am also thinking about trying to find someone local who's interested in learning how to make them, who I could then buy wholesale from. I have all the supplies/have come up with a great process/etc, just am tiring of actually making them. I haven't decided for sure, but I'm just thinking about this now while gearing up for the holiday season. They sell pretty good for me around the holidays, but I just have run out of time to make them/room for supplies/etc. Please PM me and we can go from there! Thanks!
  5. Can anyone recommend a good place to get hemp oil from? I just want to get a pound or so to start playing with. I remember seeing it somewhere natural and refined, and maybe even hemp butter, but I can't remember where. Thanks!
  6. Thanks everybody! Off to check them out at Amazon!
  7. Anybody have recommendations for good books on using EOs, specifically using them in B&B? I have quite a few EOs that I've gotten for my own use, mostly inhaled aromatherapy up to this point, and I've been toying with the idea of starting to play with them in lotions, body wash, etc. I have books on EOs in inhaled aromatherapy, massage, etc., but have much knowledge as to safety on skin, and would like to start reading and researching. Thanks much!!
  8. I've also heard macadamia wax- haven't tried it yet, but want to get a sample. I use Candelilla.
  9. Oh- and I recognized some of her soap pictures from another site as well. I'm emailing that site owner (a friend of mine).
  10. LOL- I noticed when I was right in the middle of looking at her pictures they started disappearing..... Good job!
  11. Sent ya a PM. Image stealing is a HUGE pet peeve of mine!!!!!

  17. Never bought signs from here- but anything else I've bought I've been really happy with! http://www.storesupply.com/c-462-signs.aspx
  18. BCN has unscented incense sticks and takes paypal.
  19. I've used both. I did notice a small difference in smell between the two of them before I added FO, but after that I can't tell the difference. And they both seem to last as long, melt the same for ornies, etc.
  20. I absolutely love the ones from WSP. I don't have much lotion left in the tubes at all. My customers really like the "feel" of these tubes, too. I know everyone complains about their shipping, but for some reason for me it's not bad at all. I always compare pricing + shipping when calculating costs, and they are still cheaper for me than some other places.
  21. This is probably a dumb question but I have never worked with clays, polymer or otherwise, before, so... Can you add FO to clays? Looking at these pens gave me an idea- my niece had a "smelly pen" that she loved.
  22. Aahhh, dad craft gifts.... I struggle with the same thing. I can't see my dad burning candles either. What I ended up doing was making wickless for him, and gave him several with an electric warmer. He loved it! He asked me to make more for him later. He didn't want to light candles, but was fine with just turning on and off a switch.
