  1. They all look great. And you are much better with that waffle cutter than am.
  2. Those look great. Thanks for sharing.
  3. For something different, Billie tried a black raspberry and banana FO blend, using a Mantra swirl in our 30" log mold. Here is what we got.
  4. Just FYI - There are already two threads posted about this company. http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52722 http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83046
  5. Billie and I made another video showing a CP batch with Endless Love FO and white and gold swirls. Here is the video link ----> Or if you prefer still soap porn, here are a couple of photos.
  6. We had a box of old soaps that did not turn out as we planned, or had a weak scent, or was just plain ugly. Billie decided to put it to use, so we separated bars by similar colors, primarily looking for blues and purples. We put each color group through the salad shredder. Cooked them down in separate crock pots and added more blue or purple. We then dumped the blue and purple globs onto separate freezer paper to cool and harden, and then re-shredded each one. Then made a plain partial CP batch based on adding 23% shreds by weight. We dumped in the two piles of blue and purple shreds, stirred a couple of times and poured into a 15" log mold. Sprinkled a few extras of each on the top, and closed it up. We dosed it with Fierce FO. This is what we got. The confetti log Bars after cutting with a waffle cutter Closer look at the bars
  7. We had trouble getting it to dissolve as well. We started adding it to the lye water solution, just before it goes into the batch (not when it's hot). That works pretty well for us.
  8. Start checking for hidden cameras. Some reality show is trying to "punk" you. NO ONE could possibly be SO RUDE and SO STUPID as to think ANYONE would actually drive a 1000 miles to deliver a cash refund to THEIR DOOR, could they???? OMG!!! I hope they don't have any children. This is DNA we absolutely do not want propagating in the world. OMG!!! Where is the uni-bomber when you need him. :smiley2:
  9. Wow. Nice bright colors. Great Job.
  10. The good - it is still soap. The bad - all the colors changed on us. The ugly - what happened to the blue base and lavender splotches Another experiment gone wild. Billie wanted to try something new using splotches to swirl instead of lines. We got the idea from our So Cal soap fiasco, when the colors got way to thick and plopped here and there like bird droppings. The planned light blue base went sort of pale green, the pink did stay pink, the white washed out, and the lavender almost vanished. Oh well, Edison did not make a workable battery on the first try. FO was Amber Romance.
  11. I still cannot connect to scent review with IE or Firefox (blank screen). I did a PING to that site name and got packets back just fine, so I know they're alive. If I try to connect to the IP address that PING gave me (75.86.165.119), IE and Firefox both give me the page below. I emailed this information to their review board address to see if this helps. _____________________________________________________________________ "If you can see this page, then the people who manage this server have installed cPanel and WebHost Manager (WHM) which use the Apache Web server software and the Apache Interface to OpenSSL (mod_ssl) successfully. 12. Beautiful Rae. You have outdone yourself.
  13. Billie already answered this, but the direct Youtube link is
  14. They were neon blue and neon yellow liquid concentrate from TKBTRADING.COM.
  15. Well, we started off to make another video for two color swirls. However, we either blended too long, or the So Cal FO is a fast tracer, and the colors got way too thick before we could pour. It was more like large colored bird droppings into the batch, instead of a nice thin stream up, down, and across the batch. By this time we were pissed and cursing at all creatures large and small. We figured the recording was at least "R" rated, and decided to scrap the whole "let's do another video" idea for now. We dove in and did the Billie swirls, just to see what would happen. :rolleyes2 Hurray. They actually turned out OK, so we will give you our still picture version. The textured look you see on the bar face actually was not part of our grand plan either. It was a happy accident (to quote Bob Ross) as a result of the quick trace before we could finish the swirls. Anyway, here they are. Before unmolding. After unmolding.
  16. Billie decided to tried something new for us this time. She has a sheet mold of small roses. She 1st made a batch of yellow and a batch pink roses using melt and pour, with some sparkles. She then made a batch of CP soap (FO - Sweet Pea & Me) with pink and yellow swirls, put in our dividers, and immediately embedded a pink or yellow rose into each bar. The swirls did not come out as dark as we wanted, but they look OK. In the mold I was able to sneak one of Billie's oil paintings in as background. She hasn't painted in a couple of years, and this may inspire her. Unfortunately my lights kind of washed out the left side of the photo. Closer look at the bars
