  1. I was going for something here... but gave up after the red, so I just finished up with the green. Next time I won't try to do 4 at one time.
  2. Thanks eugenia! Love the effect. Will have to play with this technique. Make a lovely candle.
  3. What a pretty candle. I love the crackle effect. Think I missed the instructions on this. Can someone tell me how it is done? TIA
  4. Guess I will have to go back and get some more. Hope there sale didn't end today. Mine says Pomace real big on it.
  5. I just picked up a 3 quart container of Pomace Olive oil for 6.99. In most of my recipes I don't use it anymore, but there is one that I do. Is this considered a good price?
  6. I picked up this generic brand today and was wondering when using the SoapCalc, should I use it as Crisco or Soybean? The ingredients are: Partially Hydrogenated Soybean and Cottonseed oil with Mono-and Diglycerides. TIA
  7. Thanks! I am going to give it a go tonight. Just can't figure out if I am going to use a slab or log mold.:undecided
  8. I am thinking about making a batch of this up tonight. Would one ounce ppo be to much? I am doing CP with a WD. Anything to watch out for? TIA
  9. I do a water discount with mine most of the time. If I make it in the morning, I am cutting it that night. It also depends on how large the batch is.
  10. Perfect votives, love the colors and scents you chose.
  11. Wow! Beautiful swirl. Soft and pretty.
  12. Thanks All! Made more yesterday. There fun to do.
  13. Isn't it exciting! Make sure you post pics!
  14. I love the scents. Your soap looks yummy!
  15. They look great! Way to go!
  16. Wow your first ones? Pat yourself on the back, you did a beautiful job. Just love the swirl. Wish I could get one to look like that. :)
  17. Ivory pillars are my favorite also. Love the way they look when burning. Yours look beautiful.
  18. Didn't change the color to much. Just wanted to see if I can do them. Fun to do and I see myself trying to do a lot more.
  19. Thanks All.... as I said before I enjoy making them. I also am thinking about selling them. My only problem is there is no standard size. So I would have to start all over on each one, which on my end would be very time consuming. Then I would have to put it in a format where you would be able to go in and change scent and ingriedents yourself. I have been doing some work for Lorrie and once we get the kinks out I might have a better idea on whether or not I want to do this. It would help if everyone told me what their standard size bar is. Thanks again!
  20. Those are really neat! Great Job.
  21. Can you get coconut oil locally? If so, I would get some of that to use also. If not you can still get a nice bar of soap out of what you have.
  22. I am waiting for my new colorants to get here before I make anymore soap, so I have been playing with a bunch of different boxes that I am going to do. The claw tub ones I did it numerous colors. These will end up going in a gift baskets that I am working on. Will post when completed. My husband is a hunter and his buddies are wanting soap so of course they have to have their own box too. The next ones will be going in my brochure in the favor section.
