  1. Okay so what was the point of the post? If you did your homework on suppliers, than what are you asking? I thought you were in a bind asking for options, and that is what peeps are giving ya, but you seem to be pretty determined NOT to take any of the advice.
  2. A couple of you were missing boxes. I tracked them and called USPS. They assured me that the boxes are in transit. He said it should be soon. HE could not tell me where exactly they are he just said that they are en route. Let me know if you would like your tracking # :smiley2:
  3. Hmmm I think paypal is way better than a MO. IMO. IF you lose a MO thats it, it is like sending cash through the mail.. At least with paypal you have documentation. Besides it is faster than snail mail, and you can set it up and order by the end of the day today. I have had paypal for over 5 years, and to be honest I have never had an issue. It was ebay who I had an issue with.
  4. The tracking number only said the electronic info was recieved. I dropped it off personally at the post office BEFORE they did mail call. I will call them tommorrow to see whats up. They should have more than electronic info on. Is anyone else missing their boxes?? THX
  5. Brat you should have gotten it by now! I sent it the same day I sent Tops which was Thursday night. Ill check the confirmation # right now!!
  6. And dont forget to send in your reviews~~~ The page is in my siggy!! OH and Michael, I am in on the valentine swap!!
  7. I forgot to put a note on mine. They MUST be burned in a flower pot votive holder, or it will not burn right. Expect some hang up until you get past the wide part. I would rather play catch up than have a wick too hot and break the holder at the base. Thanks!! Mine was the Xmas currant
  8. You didnt get a peppermint? Uh Oh. I dont have an extra :embarasse
  9. Trish the soap is from me!! I wanted make sure you felt good and guilty since you forgot to add MY votive :smiley2:
  10. I put all of my invoices in a "supplies" binder, so I can go back and look at it when I need to check a price. I have it divided into months, so I can look at the most recent
  11. Could be the wick needs to be smaller AND too much FO. Cutting back the Fo might help slow it down :smiley2:
  12. Why dont you buy a candle from me? Mine a quadruple scented!!! Seriously, triple scented compared to what? That is what I never got. Some peeps say "Most use 6%" IT is impossible to know what MOST people use in their wax. Especially since diffrent waxes hold diffrent %. Sounds like a good sounding scam to me. Typical sales pitch. I guarantee a high quality candle, and I sell way more than my "triple scenter" down the road
  13. You have just inspired me to take the last of my bears to the dipping vat of HOT wax!!! Mmmhhhhhhwwwaahhhhaaaahhhaaa
  14. Why my customers LOVE them: It is something diffrent. They always say they have not seen anything like it. It lasts A LONG time. I have a 3 year old one still going strong!! They are an alternative to burning Perfect for Kids rooms (as long as it is not used as a toy) I do however always get (Is it a candle?) I guess peeps are thinking it is a huge novelty votive. I put warning labels on the bag, AND I explain that it is NOT a candle and is NOT meant to be burned, to EVERY customer who gets one. HTH
  15. Well try to find something with a zipper. So that it is completely sealed. Thicker is better because if it doesnt "release" scent well it cures itself. Does that make sense lol? Basically if the scent cannot get out it can only stay within itself. Airtight you know?
  16. Yes those would be it!! You see poly pro you shouldnt be able to smell through the plastic. But if you have some ROCKING scents you might be able to. Maybe get some samples from your supplier with a thicker gauge. You prolly got a 2 mil, maybe try aa 3 or 4 mil. I can definately smell through yours, but your scent rocks though..:smiley2:
  17. Let me see if I can find you some. The ones I use are from a department store.. (My mom is the mngr, and gives them to me free - they hold earrings) BRB Okay here you go http://www.polybagsupplies.com/03x04-4-mil-reclosable-zip-top-bags-p-850.html Although I would call to make sure these are "PolyPROpylene" Not "PloyEthylne"
  18. No I didnt take it the wrong way. I was just speaking in general:cheesy2: (as in regards to upsetting posts)It was mainly an add on to Trishas response. See what I mean about the tone being confuzzled OBTW you are very welcome too!!
  19. Put them in poly pro bags with a zipper so they can stay fresh AND the customer can smell them!! 6 months should not be a proble I wouldnt think as long as they were packaged properly. Maybe someone else will chime in
  20. Aslo keep in mind that this is a "message board" and it is sometimes hard to tell someones "tone" when it is written rather than spoken. I catch myself sometimes were it could come across as rude depending on your interpretation, but I was just typing with no rudeness implied. Just something to think about. Dont take it personally
  21. I think there was just a misunderstanding on "instructions" I knew you weren't looking for "candle making instructions" but specific wax instructions. I have been pouring for over 6 years and I know there are different waxes which have to be treated different ways. Good luck with the J223. I love this container wax!!
  22. Here is one also: Product TypeContainer Candle BlendPropertiesMelt Point:124°FFlash Point:>500°FDescriptionSoft and creamy, this low-shrink blend is designed specifically for container candles.Benefits Has excellent adherence to container sides. Holds above average amounts of fragrance oil. Fragrance oil retention of 8-10% is typical. Can generally be used as a single pour wax when poured at 145-155 although occasional topping off may be required. Properly wicked, can achieve a 3.5" plus melt pool. Scent throw is excellent both hot and cold. Very good burn characteristics. Wax is opaque which allows brighter colors with less dye. General Guidelines Heat wax in a double-boiler system to 170°F - 180°F. Add fragrance and dye and stir thoroughly. Then LOWER the pouring temperature to 145°F - 155°F, then pour. Preheat glass containers to allow for better side adhesion. Allow to cool as slowly as possible. Do not place in a water bath or refrigerator to accelerate the cooling process.
  23. I like your BIG BALLS Nice mottling
  24. I am also leary when it comes to others selling my products. I have terms that they must agree upon. I do not want a misrepresentation of my items. I just care that they have a nice attractive display. I say wholesale because then they will actually care weather or not they sell them.
