  1. Check out The Candle Makers Store. Steve has some very unique containers. I've used little 1.5oz hex jars for wedding favors then customized the label.
  2. Don't know if this is going to be of any help but I use cbl141 for my pillars and votives. drop my wick pin in the votive molds and pour around 180-190. Nothing in the molds as far as release agent. I usually hit my votive molds with a heat gun and get em really hot then pour...do my repours as needed and in a few hours they usually pop right out with no cosmetic problems. Winter or summer it has always been the same for me.
  3. I gotta add Hillbilly Homebrew Hot Fudge Brownie Chocolate Covered Cherries Strawberry Cheesecake Vanilla Pear
  4. I personally have used NG for the past 6 years. They are my main FO supplier. I only go elsewhere if I need something they don't have. I have been very happy with every oil I have ever purchased from them. I've tried other oils from some other suppliers and they have been decent, but the levels of customer service that I've gotten from Debbie and her staff at NG are unsurpassed by none, so I just keep going back. BTW, If you get your order to them by 11am it usually ships the same day! HTH Greg
  5. Have you tried The Candle Makers Store in Ohio?? I know Steve does cutom labels there and his pricing is pretty good.
  6. If you really did use it to wipe yourself.......would your f*rts smell like baby powder????????
  7. How you package your tarts is pureley a personal preference. I package mine in a polyethylene sleeve in sets of six and tie it at the top w/ rafia and add a hang tag to it. Many of what you see in stores like Y****e are shrink wrapped. This would only require purchasing shrink wrap material. sealing the tart in it and hitting it w/ a heat gun. I've had wholesale clients that would just put the plain tart into clear jars and sell them that way. The fragrance would really knock your socks off when you took the lid off the container. hth a little Greg
  8. candlewic has them and a few other strange shapes as well
  9. Monitor resolution and type of internet browser will make all the difference in the world when designing a website. If you build your site for the resolution of the monitor you have..(say 1024x768) and it fits perfectly on your screen. If a user running say 800x600 visits your site, they will have to scroll side to side to see the site. A higher resolution will show you the background color you are talking about. Different browsers will do different things also. Fun, Fun eh???? I have 3 websites of my own and have learned a lot by doing things the wrong way. I still have a lot to learn, but it's fun doing it!! hth a little. Greg
  10. Try a cheap soldering iron you can get at radio shack. You can heat and push at the same time!! No burnt thumbs!
  11. I actually use a polyethylene film. It's kind of like a really tight bag for my tarts. The tarts stack in them. Tie it off at the top w/ a piece of rafia and add a hang tag. Wish I had a pic to share. I'll have to seach my computers for a pic. Greg
  12. Let me save you a whole bunch of time and effort. My client in Las Vegas was purchasing candles of this type from another supplier. When they came to me to begin supplying candles to them, I spent 3-4 weeks searching and searching for a mold for them. They don't exist. It is a specific product that Genwax developed. I actually bought 6 of them from Genwax with the intention of trying to make a mold from them, the the reality of the engineering nightmare it was going to be hit me like a brick. Fortunately I talked my client out of that style!! WHEW!! Hope this helps ya a bit! Greg
  13. Namanama, Most likely...your best bet is going to be candlewic in PA. I live in western ny and I've found them to be probably the most economical and pretty reliable. Catch them on a good sale week and you can save some money. Unless you can pick up your wax directly...it's going to be costly to ship. PA and OH are only 2 days ship for ups so I would make that your target area. They also have tart molds too!! Feel free to drop me a pm if ya wish. Greg
