  1. I use to experiment with making candles (couldn't ever find the right wick, so I don't anymore). I'm a big fan of Comfort Blend's throwing power. I have a big area that we burn candles in. The whole first floor of our house is basically all open so I need a strong thrower. Anyways I would like to purchase some candles from someone or a few people that use this wax or a similar wax that can throw in this large of an area (roughly 1400 square foot). Please email me (or post in this thread) your website address. Thanks!
  2. I searched the archives, but didn't quite get a few of these clearly answered... I'm trying to figure out what ratio I use to make these? Is it 1oz of FO per lb of salt?? And if you use a body safe oil, it can be used for bath salts or air freshener right? It just takes the salt, fo and fd&c color right? Or fd&c color the one that fades? Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
  3. The postcards are all on sale. Their prices are on this page... http://www.overnightprints.com/main.php?A=pricing 1,000 for $40!
  4. No, I did not save it to my computer. I didn't think I needed to. It seemed that it was saved in a format that I could go online and read there. Since there was a password to get in, etc. I didn't know I needed to download and save the book. If I had known the site wasn't going to be up or my password wasn't going to work, etc I would have saved it. That is my mistake. I just figured I'd be able to access it when I needed it. I obviously learned my lesson and now know to always save anything I download.
  5. Oh my gosh Di! That is too funny about the car showroom! I would never be able to do that. I was hesitant to even post my post and it wasn't even directed at anyone. I have such a hard time speaking about things like this. I can see the car dealership running to fix your problem though! Too funny!!
  6. Ok the situation has been resolved with the seller. She refunded my $29. Really I wanted the book, but she doesn't have a copy. According to her, my PMs and emails were not delivered to her b/c her email address on here was incorrect. So she saw my post and responded to that through a PM. We PM'd back and forth and she sent me a refund through paypal. Sooo anyways!! Back to my original problem... the upcoming craft show. I think I have everything together and ready but I still feel like I forgot something. I did find these two sources online for lists though, just in case they might be helpful to anyone.... 101 things to take... http://www.craftsreport.com/august99/businesswise.html 160 things to take... http://www.sunshineglassworks.com/articles/craftshowlist.shtml Oh and of course I used the search box and the list on here. I guess I'm ready I just wanted to read everything I could. Thanks!
  7. I actually have the copies of the messages I sent her. I can prove that I did in fact email her. I am a VERY honest person and would never say that I did something I didn't. I didn't come on here to flame this gal or make her look bad at all. That's why I didn't list who I bought it from, her website addy, nothing. I knew that the people who had bought it would know what I was talking about and might be able to help me. I honestly just want a copy of the darned book! I have my paypal receipt, my emails to her, anything you need. Just please let my book go, LOL!!
  8. www.overnightprints.com is a GREAT source for everything printed. All of their prints are full color prints, not copies or digital copies. There's a big difference when in the quality of an actual print (can't think of the term for this) and a digital copy. A lot of local companies do digital copies... Anyways all of their prices are great and the prices are for your uploaded designs (not some prefab stuff)! I bought 1,000 glossy business cards for $40. Can't beat that! 1,000 glossy postcards is also only $40! I also bought brochures, postcards, etc...The quality is great and price is unbeatable! Anyways back to brochures. Here is their pricing.... premium 100lb glossy book paper with glossy coating... 100 double sided - $110 250 double sided - $140 500 double sided - $160 1,000 double sided - $230 2,000 double sided - $280 5,000 double sided - $360 Oh and they will also fold them for a small fee. And there is usually discount codes floating around the web. I used a $10 off code last week. Hope this helps someone! edited to add: They offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders over $75!
  9. Hey girls! I wanted to see if anyone has a copy of the craft show ebook the candletech member sold? I bought a copy about 6 weeks ago b/c this is my 1st year doing craft shows. I didn't really have the time to look all over the internet to find a list of what to bring, etc so I thought it'd be a great help. Well when I bought it, I skimmed through it and put it aside until my craft shows got closer. Well my 1st one is next weekend. I have emailed the candletech member I bought it from 3 or 4 times over the last few weeks. 1 of all the times got a reply that said she no longer sells the book, but if I still had my password I could access it. Well I can't. When I go to the site, it says it disabled or not accessible or something. I'm really really frustrated. I paid somewhere $29 for this darned ebook for nothing. I saw all the warnings on here about 'why would you buy that', etc and agreed with the few that said it would be a good source all put together in one place so I coughed up the $29 and now I have nothing! It's really frustrating, did I say that already? Anyways I tried to get a copy from the actual seller and yeah that didn't work out. I can't even get an email response. Anyways the whole point of this rambling is.... does anyone have a copy of that ebook that they will pretty please forward me? If you need to see a copy of my paypal receipt showing that I purchased it, I will gladly forward it to you. If anyone can help, please let me know. You can PM me or email me at lexismommy23@yahoo.com. Thanks!
  10. Does anyone use First Data for credit card processing? Their rates seem really good. There aren't any minimums, maximums, monthly fees, transfer fees, etc. There's an annual fee and a monthly fee for the handheld wireless terminal, but the rates are comparable if not lower than other companies. If anyone uses them or has any experience with them, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks! Lisa
  11. I use a soy/parafin blend in a hard votive wax for tarts. Does anyone know can I package them in candy foil? I have some clear snap shut boxes that I need to use up and I was thinking of wrapping different scents in candy foils and throwing them in a clear box. Can I do this? Will the foil hold the scent in or will it suck it out and let them mix together? I use cupcake liners and those do fine, but I'm not sure about candy foil?? Thanks!!
  12. Thank you guys SOOOO much!!! I tried like crazy to figure it out and couldn't!! Thanks again!!! I really appreciate all the responses!
  13. I have a silly question. I made a custom template in DesignPro. It is displaying the first label, but I can't move to fill in the rest of the labels on the page??? I feel silly, but I tried everything and all I can do is design the 1st label. I can't move to any other cell or row??? If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!
