  1. I would be wondering why China would want to import candles (or anything for that matter) from here? They seem to make enough of them, as well as containers etc. and their labor and costs are much much cheaper. Just be cautious and investigate this thoroughly.

Exactly what I was thinking. They probably want to dissect your product and copy it and will surely start with ordering samples and then decide not to wholesale after all. Sorry about being skeptical, but I would investigate further, too.

  2. With Sleeping Waters, it is indeed very calming, and relaxing. It also does reflect my geographical area, but very few people would know that Snohomish means Sleeping Waters, including myself.

I agree with Lindsay on this one -- I like having a business name that you have to explain. :grin2: Another vote for Sleeping Waters.

  3. If you're particular about how the Creme Brulee smells, you should read the Scent Description page of wherever you plan to get the FO. Some of them have a chocolate note to it, which I don't like. I like my Creme Brulee to be the rich, custard smell, no chocolate.

  4. Adding on to what Marika mentioned about the wire racks -- I think the grid of the rack makes things look busier, more cluttered. Like some have suggested, it would be a good idea to have a few of each product on display (on a table maybe?).

  5. Ok here is what I've been working on.....PublisherLotion2oz.jpg

I can't see any of the previous logos because I get the red X (still can't see the logo even if I right click and click on Show Picture).

I like the general look of this, but not the part where you have "Scent Lotion." I see the graphic between the swirls as hands. Along with another hand in the "Scent Lotion" area, it seems like there are too many hands.

  6. I REALLY like how it jumps out at you on the white. It looks great in the clear, but once you start changing the product color (the current light peach/pink tone compliments her coloring), it may start looking really scary if you go with the clear. Try it on a different colored product, like green, and see if she still looks as nice as she does right now.

    Ditto.

  7. I did decide to basically split the difference in the size of the top and bottom of the container which would be around 3" inches and gear wicking towards that and see how it works. My concern if I wick too big that once it gets to the bottom half of the jar would be a melt pool and the glass would be too hot. If I wick for a smaller measurement then maybe anything left on the top of the container will catch up as it gets to the bottom. Not sure how that theory is going to work but it's worth a shot lol.

I don't use flower pots but your idea sounds good. Let us know how it turns out.
