1. Well, since I am redoing my A&F labels and you see I make them to go with the scent, any suggestions on what to use for my A&F candle? :embarasse LOL
2. Okay. Sounds good. I will redo them and quicklike because I don't want to be sued!!!
3. ETA: not to hijack the thread -- but are you posting with two different user names? croady on work's computer and roady at home.
4. Can you share these names so we don't make the same mistake of ordering from them?
5. I use....... Amazing Grace (Philosphy Type) in real small letters
6. What is the difference of using their name and then using BBW and Yankee and PierOne and all the other's? Isn't this the same thing? As long as I have type on the label, it's okay right?
7. And here's our embeds
8. Just wanted to hear some opinions on our candles. It is slightly a blurry picture of them as I was in a hurry!
9. I use zinc with no problems whatsoever. hth, Chantel
10. Yes, I have had those in the last batch that I poured as well as specks of dark green in a light green candle I was trying to pour. The only thing I can think of is that we didn't stir enough and poured a little to cool. Maybe someone can help us out? chantel
11. Well, this is sorta on topic but........... what the heck do yall use to punch holes in these things???? LOL I got some ready to go and I've tried a long hole punch and they are too thick to fit in it. I've tried a brand new hole punch and it's not sharp enough. I've tried a drill and it tore it up. HELP!! TIA, chantel
12. Yep...that's what I use and it flies off the shelves. I got some of the Ezra and it's good but not as good as Fierce.
13. ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww. That hit me about as much as the Bacon fragrance my husband wanted me to find.... lol.
14. I use zinc's with this wax and they work great!
15. I totally agree with you. That is what I use and I LOVE it!! I use the zinc wicks.
16. lol. No I don't have a site. I will try to get some on here though in the next couple of days. I have been wanting too to get some reviews.
17. Has anyone used them and if so.... which FO's are good. They are in Oklahoma and not far from me. TIA, chantel
18. Just wanted to comment on the glassware and packaging. I personally do use the keepsake jars with flat lids and my labels are gorgeous if I do say so myself. However, with that said. My brother ships out candles by the pallet. He has built a very sucessful candle company and ships most of his pallet's to Canada but he does ship all over the US. He does use the pretty urn jars which he orders direct from Anchor and Hocking. He FREAKED when he saw our labels. He said we were spending too much money on them with all the ink. He uses this little bitty one that in my opinion is fugly! He said that customers don't care what the labels look like. All they care about is that they are getting a candle that burns properly and smells up the house. I'm not giving up my labels though....lol Chantel
19. I agree with you smelly! I just posted a new thread because I looked all over for my original one......... didn't realize you just posted and the old thread was right under my nose, lol. Ezra does smell good but the original one is better. Chantel
20. There was a discussion awhile back about AH's Abercrombie scent and how wonderful it was. I ordered the Ezra because it was cheaper and told y'all I would let y'all know how it was. It is awesome also! I don't like it quite as much as the straight A&F but it's a good one!! It too smells just like a good looking man, lol!! HTH, Chantel
21. I would try a Staples or Kinko's. They may be reasonable.
22. It smells just like Lemon Pledge to me. I like it though.
23. We colored them Halloween orange. I am crossing my fingers on the smells. I use 70/30 blend and it takes a few days to get the true scents because of curing. I am soooooo impatient!! Good luck selling! How much were you thinking of selling yours?
24. Mom and I are debating on how much to retail these for. We are thinking $10.00. We filled them with Pumpkin Crunch Cake and Candy Corn, btw. Could someone that also sells these let me know how much you sell them for pleaseeeeeee? TIA, Chantel
