  1. I totally agree with you both. But SO FAR everything has matched 6006. I do agree that it may go south at anytime but for now its all working well. Still planning on spot checking evrything as i have been and testing each batch.. the cost savings on picking it up still outweigh the additional costs... Closest i can get that in PA is Candlescience... Refuse to do business with candles and supplies again.
  2. Yeah i was a bit worried too its more like a 5.5 pound slab ( 2 make a standard slab) I questioned John when we went to pick up a few wicks... he showed me the melters.... you want to talk about GIGANTIC...Alls good as long as it continues to perform like 6006. I do have a backup plan and spot testing things every so often and testing every batch. When i was there i kid you not there was at least 10,000 candles in storage and about that many in the retail shop... glass prices are pretty good and can pick up one piece or 500.... ( they got PALLETS of each on hand for you to see... Not to impressed with fragrances though...some are really really good and others poof...
  3. They manufacture thousands of candles... i do know this as we have been in there warehouse. The site makes them look very tiny. I was just thrown off when the slabs looked the way they did. So far is burning like 6006. The price is a touch higher than the average but being able to drive there makes a huge savings for us.
  4. I found out that they are getting it in liquid form from igi on a tanker truck.
  5. www.zencart.com Its totally free.... The support forum there helped us get going relatively fast ( 4 years ago) It does take alot of tweaking but once set up it runs super smooth... Hosted at www.camelothosting.com Excellent host and Tony is excellent in customer service..... There are many other good hosts for zencart May also look at oscommerce and cube cart... both arre free too and built on relatively the same platform.
  6. has anyone purchaased any from EAC in allison park in Pittsburgh? Reason i ask is we got some the other day and its not in standard slab form them must be melting it and forming it in pie pans or something? Any ideas? Was their 360 Blend the same way?
  7. Thanks cedar. I knew it was brown sugar but scared to mix my own for permanent production. Suppleirs that do this ARGHGHGHGHH!!!!!
  8. It is a really interesting one. Made a tester in a status. Seems to one of those calming scents. Awesome throw hot and cold. Will see how it sells after christmas... gonna rename it...
  9. Love this fragrance... Sadly i think im done buying oils from her. The last order was several GREAT fragrances i hadnt ordered for about 3 months. They were ALL different... Color and smell Blueberry cheesecake for one is THE BEST i ever smelled.... Now just meh... This isnt the first time theyve changed oils on me and ive had it. So looking for something similar as im not gonna take a chance on it changing again.
  10. lol im trying to understand what they were trying to say....
  11. I think both need a few days cure time... They are strong but at 8% not strong enough. Strawberry shortcake was the same i opoured it excellent cold throw crappy hot till day 3 then WHAM!

  13. To the 6006 users 2 questions.. Do you let it cure is so for how long? And What percentage of oil do you use?
  14. I just whipped up a 50 50 mix to test it out in 6006. Im telling ya it sounds gross to me but smells sooo yummy. in addition trying out spice and sruedel from cs and brandied pear... all i can say is WOW!!!
  15. Honestly the best resource out there is THIS board. You can learn so much from the pros here. Gotta use the search function but its all there!
  16. Was messing around cleaning pots out. Mized some wax scented with cs mac apple and js fudge brownie.... surprisingly it smelled really good lol....
  17. Any good recomendations for CS oils in 6006? I already love the blackberry marmalade, clean cotton and apple. Looking for a few more if you have any good ones!
  18. Fianally got around to calling and asking a few questions. The lady on the phone was helpful but could not guarantee stock or shipping quotes. Their email to me sounded more like a teenage girls writing ( was just off) Kinda left a bad taste in my mouth. i eventually was emailed a firm quote. 43.00 a case from CA to PA. The 4 cases from impact was only 131.00. Assuming they are the same molds? They are definately padding shipping or using very heavy boxes. The phone quote was signicantly higher than the amount on the site also.
  19. Thanks will check into it. Was gonna use them for 1 oz tart variety packs. Something different.
  20. Looking for cheap (arent we all) 1 oz and 2 ox portion cups. I thought i seen some one poet awhile back about them at a restaurant supply store ( search comes up empty) Any ideas?
  21. Banana nut bread from JS is one of the few oils from there i like. Works on 6006 and cbl 125.
  22. really like JS fudge brownie in the past but it seems different now so we tried chocolate fudge from CS excellent in 6006
