  1. Hello, I am looking for a really good true clean pine scent. What I mean by this is if you walk up to a pine tree and you pulled off a small branch, broke it and smelled it this is what I am looking for. Any suggestions? Thanks, Robert
  2. Well, I ordered some stuff from peak. Some wax I got the paraffin comfort blend as it sounded like just what I was looking for. I got three 4oz bottles of scent (Eucalyptus leaf, bayberry and lavender) as well as colorings for those and some HTP wicks which is what they recommended for this wax. The stuff should be here on Friday. Thanks for the help everyone I will let you know how it goes. Robert
  3. Yah, I was starting to think the same thing about the local craft store. Lots of $ little in return and a very poor selection to boot. Right now I am not using anything. I am looking at ordering a batch of: http://www.justscent.com/waxwickandcolor.html of the JS50 but I like to do container candles so i was considering the JS123. But I am not sure which one to go for. As for quality scents at an affordable price I am open to suggestions. Robert
  4. Hello, My name is Robert, yes I am am Man but I love to create things. When I was 9 I started making my own candles using used candles and crayons I got at thrift stores. I did this for about 5 years and then moved on to cake decorating and then wedding cakes and then photography and now I am back to candles. I got back interested in to candles because of the Glade candles with what they call "essential oils" these seems to burn nice (they claim up to 22 hours) and seem to put off a nice amount of scent and the scent smells pretty real unlike the fake smells of most of the commercial room deoderizer things. So I decided I want to make my own because at $5 a pop they are pretty expensive and I am not really thrilled with the scent choices they offer. I have tried candle wax I got at my local craft store as well as some of the hard scent blocks, I have tried bee's wax with essential oils and none of them seem to put out the smell that the Glade candles do. So I need some help. What would all of your suggest? Wax type, scent type? Etc. Thanks, Robert
