  1. so I figured I would get my hands wet in body mist..well my first attempt at it has gotten off to a rocky start...of course dummy me didn't order any real body mist type of FO so the only thing I had that would some what work is ROSE....I put in 8oz liquid and 1/4 tsp of FO...:shocked2:

oh my it is very strong...so I decided to put in 1/2 tsp of vanilla...hmm, can't really smell the vanilla, rose is still over powering...should I just start over?

what are some popular scents with body mist?

    thanks for your response...

  2. I use the Ecosoya PB with a wick pin and don't have this problem. Are you waiting till it completely cools? I add a little parrafin so maybe thats why mine come out easy. I like to add from 20 - 25 % parafin to the soy. I get a pillar that comes out of the mold with a tap and the wick pin slides out fairly easy. It makes the hot and cold fragrance throw better too.

the longer I wait the harder it is..

  3. Jane, you have to try the ornies. If you have some aroma beads scented & colored already, it just takes a metal cookie cutter, a nail, an old cookie sheet, your oven and about 4-5 minutes. You'll LOVE them! I do make the bags, but mostly in the leather scent for men, my DH loves it, he just puts it under his seat.

A nail? I also used a plastic cookie cutter..

is there something I should not be doing?

  4. As long as they are not colored I think you will be fine.. I have some black ones at work I brought home, I put some FO and wax in there and the black came off..( either the fo ate it or something), will you be wicking these? If they are the same I have at work, we put up to 200 degree proucts in them and the don't melt, not sure about a flame though..

  5. I love the ecosoya pb wax but I have a hard time getting the wick pins out.. I hit them and hit them and they don't budge..I really hit it to try and get it out and the bottom of the wax hangs on to the pin and now I have a chipped bottom....

I found if I heat the bottom up with my heat gun, the pin will com out better, but that can be very time consuming...

has anyone else had this problem?
