    1000 Travel Tins - Can It Be Done?

    DH and I poured 1350 6oz tins in 2 1/2 days Labor Day weekend. The first day we poured 640. That was the most we have ever poured in a day. Do you have a Turkey Fryer? We had 2 going at all times. You can do it!!! Carole

    Footnote: The Fundraiser check for $4680. for these tins bounced today. If they don't get the replacement check to me tomorrow, all hell's gonna break loose.

    All hell naw! Call me if you need back up!

    Seriously....that is some isht! I wouldn't take a replacement check...Just a cashiers check or money order and a bat upside their head....

    I have a pour pot for each scent.. So I don't have to clean them after each use...

    Ok.. You say.. That is expensive to buy all those pots..

    Well if you add up all the money spent on paper towels & wipes, Electricity to heat them, water & soap to clean them and time spent cleaning the pots, You could buy a pot for each scent easily..

    The pots pay for themselves in the long run...:D

    That is my goal for this year - a pour pot or two for each scent....cause Viva is getting expensive....lol

    Okay..actually I thought that was what the quotes were for...so other readers know what the heck your talking about. Wasn't directed to you....like you said it was for the general public! Bad day...NO! Just stating what I was told! I AM A CUSTOMER AT GL TOO! If my panties were in a wad...rightfully so...we are the ones with NO wax! ..SO SORRY TO WHOM EVER GOT AFFENDED FOR ME SAYING WHY I NEEDED SOME HELP ON WAX DIRECTION! I thought that was what the forum was for! LeeAnn~

    I do know David and Brenda, We personaaly deal with them for our wax and Jars! David informed me monday they had NO more 70/30 in stock and did NOT know if they would be getting anymore in. He gave me the number to there supplier! David and Brenda ARE very nice people. It was my right to to be looking for other wax due to what I was personally told.....So there is NOTHING to be cleared up! We spend alot of money on our jars and wax with them. And at this very moment we have NO wax...untill his supplier gets new pallets in! and then we are going directly through them...thanks to david keeping ME informed! Thanks, LeeAnn

    There are things to be cleared up as the other members in this thread are under the assumption that the wax is being discontinued.

    Again...no need to get your panties in a wad. My post was a general post to the thread. If it were intended for YOU I would have quoted the same way you did.

    I spoke with Brenda from GL today and they have NOT made a decision if they are going to discontinue the 70/30 wax. If anyone knows Brenda she does an excellent job of keeping her customers informed on what is going on.

    So with that being said, they did say if they do decide to stop carrying the wax they will send out the appropriate notifications (emails, website notice, message boards, etc).

    At this time, the wax is still available for purchase.

    Hope this clears a few things up for some.

    I will say that I loved GL 70/30 soy/par wax but with the price of shipping, wax, etc....I began to blend my own.

    Right now I am doing more of a par/soy blend. I got half way thru re-testing my scents and found a better soy than I was testing with so I am at ground zero again. However, what I just found for my blend has been the best combo I came up with in years.

    So long story short..lmao...I agree with Grumpy do you own...

    the ring around the rosie thing in middle - too much. I have seen sites that have a slide show that are nice...but there is just something about that - that isn't hitting home with me that isn't too nice.

    Every market is different. Some people wont buy something they can't relate to...however if you are using catchy names when you rename them that is a draw in itself. In my opinion (it is great when someone wants opinions on this board).

    BTW - It seems you are renaming them to catchy names so I say go for it.
