  1. I have had some emails from my website asking if I would make some wickless candles for them as they have explained they are older and do not like to burn candles. My MIL and Future SIL also use the warmers and I make them wickless candles too so I have decided to add this option to my website,,,

So far I have not had anyone ask me if I sell the warmers because as someone here stated you can get them from wal-mart. Our Wal-mart sells them for 4.96 all the time. Dollar General has started carrying some but Im not to sure if I trust those to much and would have to buy one to test it out....anyway just my 2 cents,,:D

  2. I like them both,,I like the IGI-4786(paraffin) and the GB444 (soy) BOTH awesome Hot AND cold throw!! I also use Just Scents 50/50, its great too as its a blend of Paraffin and soy......

For my Pillars I prefer IGI-4625

Just depends on you really. You have to find the wax that does the best for you,,I have tested a lot of waxes and these I like the best. HTH:D

  3. Celtic Moon Spice has been a favorite for me also. Just one word of caution guess you would call it. Do not order Celtic Moon Spice and Amish Quilt both. They smell so much alike it is hard to tell them apart. I ordered both and wish I had known before hand.

Thanks for the advice,,I will remember that!!!:highfive:

  4. could someone please help point me in the right direction? I like the tulip shape but cannot seem to find them at a good price.I also like the metro look and would like your opinion on this type.

HI,, I was looking at your website and wanted to tell you it is awesome I really liked it,,For the jars I like the jar store too and I think the Bulb or the Metro jars would work with your site,,JMO

  5. I know alot of folks will most likely disagree with me :embarasse but I have always had really good luck with heating my wax to 200* and adding my f/o at 175* to 180*. I just have it in my head that the oil will not fully incorporate with the wax at low temps. You may want to try testing against the 2 temperatures. hth

I agree with Southern gal on this too,, the only thing Im confused about is that the pic was showing it to be a set-up candle. Now my 464 and 444 looks like that while they are setting up. but once they are set-up they look great,,,hmmmm,,,,

Keep us posted on how it turns out for ya,,

  6. I package mine in cello bags, pack them in a priority mail box with peanuts, packing paper, air bags depending on how full the box is. I always mail mine priority mail since my customers get it quick and boxes are free. Go to usps.com and order you some if you haven't already.

Thats the way I do it too,,,Great minds think alike,,:highfive:

    Hey it posted twice,,,Sorry

  8. I am usiing the CO with 444 and my testing is turned out great, my scent throw seems to be better both hot and cold, I am not having as much frosting and my tops are smooth. Also have had no wick problems!

Thats Great news on the 444 BerryCakeCandles, I havent had much problems with frosting here since they re-batched it but ya never know so I am happy to here it works good!!!

I do have some 464 that doesnt throw very well even with Top-notch FO's and proper wicking, its bugging the crap outa me since I have a case of it here so I think I am going to go pick some CO up and give it a try,, this has been a very good thread!!!!!

  9. HOLY COW! :shocked2: I'm away for a few weeks, and I miss out on this hot thread?? Now I need to try this out!

    geek

Hey Geek Welcome back!! :highfive: Was thinking on this thread and was wondering,,What do you think the Frostop was made of from MC and Barnloft?? Think maybe Coconut oil was involved in a hardened state:laugh2: or just crumbled white beeswax? Just a thought.

Been thinking a lot,,this can be dangerous at times:rolleyes2

I think I might, just for fun try the coconut oil in this big case of 464 Im not thrilled with. Just doesnt wanna throw with some FO's,,

the 444 is still working out great,,,:grin2:

  10. Hi from another Illinoian!! I have shopped from Nu-scents and they are great. I have not done business with Kangaroo blue but I know people that have and I have not heard anything bad about them.. I use GB444 Soy blend and I get that in Dupo Illinois, about 45 minutes south of me at Gateway Foods. For me I love BCN and I actually shop all over,,,

    Just wanted to say HI:wave:

  11. Congrats on your first candles!!! Its feels great to know you created it doesnt it? Creme Brulee is wonderful!! I use the candle thermometers still and I use them like nuts,,,I have a digital one but hardly use it,,,Old habits are hard to stop<:laugh2: Anyway I wanted to put my 2 cents in too...:highfive:
