Vanilla Passion from Peaks,,,smells WONDERFUL!!

Breanna I was just wondering does it frost? Is the throw as strong as the 415. What temp do you pour it at. I was having problems with the 464 because my house was always too cool and I couldn't get a perfect pouring temp. Jason posted that the scent load was higher with 444 than 415 would your nose tell you the same? I love 415 but when I am not doing creative stuff and want to just color it and pour I need something easier. I gave up on the 464 because it wasn't consistant with a lot of FO's.

Hi Stacien, yes the 444 has a higher FO load then the 415. Since the 444 has been re-blended I have not had any problems with frosting at all and the tops look more creamier. I have a case of the 464 and I have also had problems with some of the fo's and the hot/cold throw isnt that great. I have poured my 444 anywhere from 130 to 160 and have had great success. I do not like to wait for my wax to get slushy to pour it and I do not want to have to add beeswax. I wanted a good soy blend and the 444 is the best for that. With coloring I use the pryme colors from www.barnloftcandles.com I also use powdered dyes. HTH:D

Okay okay I was WRONG about Gemlite fragrances and now I know what causes finger nailing in pillars. I made 3 pillars and they all came out with finger nailing in them..GRRRR makes me mad. I did light them and they smell great BUT they look awful. First time I have ever had this problem. going back to peaks and just scent for my FOs.

I use the 444 and have not had any problems with beading or sweating. This wax for soy and containers is awesome. When they first came out with it, it did have some problems BUT they re-blended it and now I will NEVER switch. I love this wax.

Am now testing WSP's IGI 4625 and see if it comes in close comparison

NG said that they are testing new waxes...

But agree with you when you said about leaving well enough alone.

For all my Pillars and votives I love IGI-4625. I have been using this wax for 3 years. For my container candles I prefer Golden Brands 444.

I have 2LBs of Joywax left and i can tell you I DO NOT like it.

I really enjoy Golden Brands 444. It has great Hot/Cold throw. Its what I use. HTH:D

Hi, well I used the Pear Berry in a paraffin pillar, votives and some tarts and they turned out wonderful!!! Using IGI-4625. Maybe I just got lucky this time.

OMGosh I have to tell you this. Okay, I have Fibromyalgia and our insurance allows body massages, so I went to the place we have here in town. Well during my massage she pours HOT wax on my back!! OMG it HURT like the dickens and I have a blister on my lower back...My DH is soooooo mad,,,I will NEVER go back,,,She did refund my money. I have to agree from Experiance now that these type of candles are BADDDD:cry2:

I have some candles left over from testing the 444 and I love it!! The scent throw has been awesome!!! After I finish with my case of 464 I am going to get the 444 for sure!! I like the 464 also but between the 2 I am going for the 444. HTH

HI Everyone!! I just have to tell you all about this lady from Gemlite,,I orderd pear and pear berry and OMG they are fantastic!!!! I ended up paying 2 shipping prices instead of a flat rate and I didnt know she had sent them out already, I told her thats okay and that she didnt need to send me anything as I didnt mind paying the shipping BUT she sent me another 1LB of Fancy Floral which ROCKS!!!! When testing an 8oz jelly, I put it in my foyer which is centrally located to the other rooms in my home. If I can smell it in my living room, dining room and coming down the hallway ... I know it's a keeper.

I like hitting my wax with a hammer,,relieves all the stress so I am actually getting 2 things done at once,,,breaking my wax and relieveing my stress:laugh2: :laugh2:
