I have had to call a couple of times and got the rude treatment as well. But...I do love their FO and prices, so I try to ignore it.

Apple Cobbler Delight from Elements is delicious! :-)
-
I'm also on the bandwagon for The Candle Source's Cinnamon & Sandalwood. Love it! Have just an ounce left and am hoarding it.
So many good FOs there...and the prices are awesome!

Did you get any of the blue ultra downy? It's OMG strong. I put in a tart in the bathroom plug in on thanksgiving day. It's been going non stop since then & I can still smell it. It's fading, but you can still smell it. His oils are worth the wait.
Yes, I sure did, Carol. I made tarts with it yesterday. Just forgot to mention that one and how much I liked it. Hope it throws well in my KY Parasoy wax. Looking forward to testing it out now!

So glad they finally arrived! I bet your SIL won't mind a belated bday gift.
Nope, she won't mind a bit! :-)
BTW...just poured the Sugar Cookie and Iced Cranberry in tarts and they both smell like definite winners! Can't wait to test them out after they cure. Also, poured the eight "clean" scents that I got and really like them all, especially the Island Fresh and April Fresh.

I never did hear back from Luis, but my box showed up today. Yay! It was a little difficult to read the scent names on my bottles, though, since they were handwritten in black marker. All in all, I ended up with two extra samples, and I love the way they all smell. I got 32 samples and two 8 ozers-Iced Cranberry and Sugar Cookie. I know what I am doing tomorrow! ;-)

I used to be really into essential oils and was a distributor for Young Living (only so I could purchase for the discount). They had just about any EO you could think of. Cotton Candy was not one of them. Seems most EOs come from plants, don't they?
-
Vanilla Bean Noel from Tennessee. I see that they finally have it in stock again. Guess I better grab it while I can! It's the best out there IMO. :-)

That is really sad nm....I'm sorry that happened to you.
No sign of him on eBay yet? I know he said Friday but was hoping maybe?
Thanks, Jeanie. No, I haven't looked for him on Ebay. I know he said on his site that all pending orders would be received by Friday, but he specifically told me that mine was going out on Monday because it got lost in the shuffle. Just kinda bums me out that he didn't follow through. I know things are probably hectic for him, but I am a paying customer and he has had my money for nearly 2 weeks now.
BTW, just noticed that you are in Wisconsin. That's where my SIL lives...in Hartford. :-)

All I wanted was to try his oils, so placed an order for $73 worth on November 19th. Looks as if I am getting the runaround. He said it would go out on Monday Priority. It is now Thursday, no oils, sent a couple more e-mails, and left two messages at his office. No response. At this point, I am not happy. Sorry to be venting a bit. I don't even sell, just ordered a bunch of "clean" samples to make tarts for my SIL's birthday. Those are the only scents she likes. Thing is, I needed to ship her box out tomorrow in order for her to have it by her birthday.
Disappointed is pretty much how I feel.
-
I received an e-mail from him on Monday morning saying he was sending my order (dated November 19th) Priority that very day. I am unable to track it at all so e-mailed him again. Now he tells me he doesn't know if it went out at all, but is checking on it. He said something about getting another box together to overnight to me, but we're talking 11 days now and though he has been responding to my e-mails, I still am a little worried about getting my stuff.
-
I got an e-mail from Luis this morning apologizing for not getting my order out before the holidays. Seems it got lost under a stack somewhere. Anyway, he said it will go out today Priority. We shall see...
-
OMG! I placed my first order with this company on the 19th. Come to find out he is closing! Arghhhhhh! I am going to be so pissed if I don't get my stuff. Does anyone have a phone number for him? I cannot get into his site and haven't gotten a response from my e-mail yet. TIA!

I think it is called sea salt and driftwood. I really don't care for the fragrance but the throw is crazy. I haven't tried any other scents so maybe this one particular fragrance is just super strong and binds better with the wax to get it to throw so well and last so long. It's the long lasting throw that is really making me frustrated with my own tarts so that's why I am so curious about these. I use a blend of 4794 and 4786 along with fo from bc, cs, and mc. They have a really great hot throw but only for about 8-10 hours of continous melt and then they go downhill from there pretty quicky. If anyone has any suggestions that they think would help I would soooo appreciate it.[/QUOT
Oooh! That just so happens to be one of the scents I have...that and Sugar Plum Fairies and Cinnamon & Bayberry. I also had a Pumpkin one and a Halloween one, but those didn't impress me much.
Thanks for the response!

Well, if they are keeping the secret "recipe" at the keebler mansion I am going to have to send out a search party to hunt down that darn tree (hee hee). Thank God for laughter, its the only thing that keeps me sane sometimes in this business : )
Moonshine- whatever good Intel you can find would be much appreciated. I hate it when I find a product that I can't make myself that's just as good or better, (especially when it comes from the big fish) lol I know it's a strong fragrance but it is going on 29 hours now, on the whole time, and I can still smell it a little bit. Thanks for the help!
What is the fragrance? I have some of those Scent Plus Aroma Melts from them, but I wasn't too impressed with their throw. I have a few more yet to try, though.
I, too, used to be a consultant (from 2002-2005). They have been doing melts for years.

Love that scent!

I have never come across a cranberry sauce that smells just like the one Vickey carries. Does anybody else use this one? Do you know of any other supplier that has one that's even close. It's strong and I love it!
I love cranberry scents and have tried many from all over. Never found one even close to KY's. Bummer.

I wonder if they will ever get that back in stock. Seems like they have been out of it for months and months.
I don't know how it compares to ME's. All I know is that it is the best I have found. I should have gotten a sample of it last week with my FO order from ME to compare. ugh

All this talk about CS Strudel & Spice...I had to pour it last night. YUMMMM!!!!
-
Okay, Kyme!
-
Don't feel bad, Lorelei. I didn't get the Candle Shop FO Either. I will have my samples early next week, too. I did, however, order tarts from her in Candle Shop to try. I'll let you know what I think.

I've tried lots of CC FOs over the years and have yet to come across one I don't absolutely love. Pumpkin Coffee, Masala Chai, Sultry Angel, Lovely Lilac, Cranberry, Clove & Cardamom, Vanilla Voodoo, Seashells, Pillow Fight...I could go on and on. They are exceptional FOs, IMO.

No, the 30% is the comfort blend.
Thanks, Ring of Fire, I kinda figured that out the more I thought about it. If it were the other way around, it would still be a sticky mess. lol
-
I have used both the 4627 and 4630 in a blend with 4794 votive wax. The comfort blend is exceptional. I use a 70/30 ratio.
Isn't the 4627 too soft to use at 70% with the 4794? I have only made container candles with that wax and it is so messy. I have to use rubber gloves.
Looking for a good Toasted Marshmallow and supplier recommendations, please!

Yep, the KY Toasted Marshmallow from AH/RE is the very best out there. It blends well with everything!
