Donna, I have the exact same problem with my tarts and am using the 4794. It's frustrating! I'm glad i'm not the only one. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong..lol I am going to try and mix it with some 6006 or 4627.. Thanks for the idea!! Sharon

Ok, I posted them in the gallery. I didn't use Photo Bucket, I just used my photo editing software and shrunk them down and them uploaded them.. It seemed to work... Thank you for your help! Now go have a laugh...lol Sharon

Here are the rest of them.. The dark brown one is Peaks Watermelon believe it or not. It was really pretty creamy white when I poured it in to the mold..It smells sooo good! The other really dark brown one with the purplish/blue swirl is GM. I used the condensed canned gm.. it smells pretty good now, it smelled horrible at first. I made this one about 10 days ago and it still feels sticky/tacky I don't know if this is normal or not? The last one is JS Hawiian Cake shaving soap with bentonite clay..I just made this one last night. I attempted a orange and yellow swirl, but as you can see it turned dark and you can't see it very well.. Sharon

OK, here are my first soaps.. They are so ugly! But I am having fun! Lets hope they can only get better..lol This was my very first batch. It's scented with Peaks White Tea and Ginger, it smells so yummy! The second pink & purple one is JS Sweet Berry Delights with a miseribly failed attempt at a swirl..lol The third is BC Oatmeal Milk and Honey and it smells so good, I want to eat it! I also added some ground oatmeal. I tried to swirl with gold mica and obviously that didn't work, you can kinda see it on top.. They are all different recipe's that were shared here.. Hello everyone, How do I post pics of my soap in the gallery without using photo bucket? I have been CP soaping for about a month now and I wanted to post some pics so you could laugh with me.. I just made my 6th batch tonight. I am having so much fun and am becoming addicted! All I think about is what soap I'm going to make next. I haven't touched my candle stuff in 3 weeks..lol I am not having much luck with swirling yet and I'm determined to do it! So, my soaps leave much to be desired..lol I used Peaks watermelon a couple weeks ago and it smells sooo good but turned dark brown. I made gm soap and swirled blue and it looked so pretty, I was quite proud of it but now it's very dark brown with dark blue swirl. I knew the gm would darken, but didn't know it would be that dark. It still feels kinda sticky or tacky, I made it 10 days ago, is that normal? Is there anything I can use to keep them from discoloring so much? I ordered a 16 bar Misty Creek mold and it should be here Wednesday!! I'm so excited! I can't wait to use it.. Sorry for my rambling, I'm just excited! TIA Sharon

Suds- It is! I called again this morning and talked to someone else.. She said it's more like a wax and it isn't the same thing. Good thing I didn't order it..lol Oh, and I am going to pick up an order from them on Thursday and they are really in Carver, not so much Oregon City.. It's an 90 acre Lavendar farm! Well, I haven't either, but I'm pretty new to soaping so that doesn't mean anything..lol I have heard of the PKO flakes also and have some. I called them to ask if they carried rice bran oil and she said no they carry rice bran flakes. I asked her if it was the same thing just in flake form and she said yes, but she didn't really sound like she knew what she was talking about, so I thouht I better ask someone who did.. Sharon

Hahahaa.. There is a cereal called Rice Bran Flakes isn't there.. But, I'm pretty sure they don't sell cereal there! Sharon

Is Rice Bran Flakes the same as Rice Bran Oil? I am going to be picking up some supplies from a local supplier and they carry Rice Bran Flakes not Rice Bran Oil.. I wanted to make sure it was the same thing.. TIA Sharon
