  1. thanks everyone for the nice comments! Sherrie..that is NOT want I want to hear..LOL! Right now, the bars are weighing in at about 5.6 oz each.
  2. Not sure if I love or hate this mold yet. I was totally in love with it, until it was time to unmold. I could not get those dividers out for anything! Took me forever with the pliers (and quite a bit of swearing!). I finally won the battle, but the soap is a bit messy from all the effort. Whew..please tell me this gets easier with use?!! This is Soapsilly's Clementine Lavender...YUMMAH! Smells fabulous!!!
  3. well, the soap looks lovely so far, and smells fab! But I can not get the dividers out at all, after almost 24 hours...eek! They are stuck tight! I am afraid I am going to ruin them with the pliers trying to get them out!
  4. woot!! You can do it, Julie!!:highfive:
  5. I go tmine yesterday..wooohooo!!! Got my first batch in the oven gellin now!
  6. I would suggest you try Carmen. She makes awesome soy lotion! http://wholesalesoylotion.com/
  7. I love, love, love Janet at creativegems! She is just a wonderful lady, and will do custom molds for you as well. I do not think you can beat her quality or service, imho. I have also used scottcrew, idealmolds, flexiblemolds, and http://jagsmolds-candles.bizhosting.com/embed_rubber_molds.html with great results. I REFUSE to purchase from Rose molds. Her set shipping amount is ridiculous to me. I live in the same state as her, but it is cheaper for me to purchase from ANYONE else and have them shipped to me. You can also find some great molds on ebay.
  8. gorgeous!! I finally broke down and ordered a Kelseie mold just so I can try swirls like that!!!
  9. Heck yeah, I am def gonna be there! Just trying to find someone around here to make the long drive with me. Take it from me, never miss a chance to hang out with these ladies...too much fun!
  10. I WAS a candlemaker too...LOL I started with candles, and eventually got bit by the bug too. Now, I sell way more candles, but really love to make the BB stuff more...go figure!
  11. I am in Warminster (Bucks County) If anyone is near here, and wants to carpool, please let me know. I do not mind driving, but that is a long drive by myself. Also willing to share a room, to save some moola!
  12. I really want to make the ohio one this year. We need a pa carpool
  13. they look great! especially since I hate making votives...I can appreciate that big pile there!!:highfive:
  14. I am def doing the Ohio one, and hopefully they will do the NJ one again. (this was the first year, and I really enjoyed it!) And now there is one being planned in NY, so I hope to make that one also. Emercier...maybe we can get a few folks together and drive up to Ohio!
  15. I can never find the clear aloe in the store, they only carry the green here..GRR and when I make my own, it is never clear either
  16. I agree with always sticking to your minimums. If they can not afford your minimums, then they are not going to be the type of account you want to hassle with anyway. Give an inch, they will take a mile.
  17. those are the ones!! dang, wish I had more time to play!!
  18. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. I love WSP, I think the prices are great, the selection is awesome. And shipping has never been unreasonable for me. With that said, their scent prices are getting ridiculous! I love a few of them, but am looking for replacements, or may have to cut them all together.
  19. please let us know, I also color and scent right in the pot, and am wondering how the heck it will work with these?
