Oh man, that is a bummer, and an ego buster for sure.

I think I would simply go up to them and ask them about the candles they are burning. Maybe they were a gift from someone else who knows??? How else are you gonna know the "whys" of it?

Maybe offer a special deal to them on their next purchase.

Hang in there, you know you have a good candle, and you just have to remember that you can't please ALL of the people ALL of the time.

I pour my while still warm iand runny into the bottles then I wait till they completly cool to put the top on.

Almost every site I've gone to that sells B&B supplies has suggested this, and it makes sense to me-seems it would be so much easier to pour when warm and a bit runnier.

I use HTP's, zincs and LX's (depending on the container obviously ) with this wax, and have never used more than 6% (1oz.) per pound, I'm with Trish, if I have to use more, than I just don't use that FO anymore, not cost efficient.

I haven't noticed any difference in whether I heat my jars or not.

Michael, sorry you could never get this wax to throw for YOU, I think I've had only ONE FO so far not throw for me with this wax.

I don't actually SELL yet, but everyone seems to like my tins (I have 6oz. and 8 oz.) and my square tapered containers (from Walmart)-those are the only ones I've gotten wicked correctly though, so that may be why. LOL

I don't even use a themometer with this wax, no matter what temp I pour it at, it's the same, so I haven't really worried about it for a long time.

I like mine to "cure" about a week, but when I do my wick testing I'll burn them the next day after pouring and they throw really well.

Shimmer Body Powder

2oz + 1 tsp cornstarch

1/2 tsp B&B glitter

10 drops FO of choice..add 2 drops at a time to prevent clumping..you can also sift them together for better blending.

Ooh I just love the one on the lower right with the hot pink/magenta streak through it, those are great, and scented with one of my FAVORITE FO's.

Those are sooo pretty, and will be beautiful as centerpieces.

A lot here also state that you should do a tester when you get a new batch of wax or wicks, just to make sure.

Other than that, if you've tested it and it burns the way you want it to, I think you're ready to send it out into the big wide world.
