  1. Here's some things I have made over the years. All the wire beads I make myself.
  2. Anyone have a good hair conditioner recipe or know where I can find one? I haven't seen any good ones that I liked so far.
  3. Well I think it's great your doing that, because for me it's hard to find in my area. I know that's why I started making my own stuff, but I order from people too. I've been addicted to etsy lately with purchasing vegan soap
  4. Yup no honey. I wish there were more vegan products out there, I think there is market for it. You have to read the ingredients pretty good, because a lot of companies sneak it in.
  5. NOW makes soy powder http://www.nowfoods.com/?action=itemdetail&item_id=12608 you can try your health food section at your grocery store or whole foods. You can also try rice milk powder too.

  8. I've been beading for a long time, I make beads from wire too. I just bought a kit to make lampwork beads with the torch and whole bit, so I hope to get into that more. Also like to sew
  9. Cheaper through here http://www.creativeilluminations.com with a wholesale account.
  10. Well some sellers I came across had that paypal account and I still had to sign up for it, which I wasn't going to do. Even though they said it worked for other people. I had to end up sending a money order which I hate to do. That's why I like google checkout, plus there's only one screen you have to deal with not no gazillion screens just to send a payment like paypal.
  11. Paypal is like walmart I think, try buying anything on a auction site if you don't want to use paypal it's impossible. Unless they have a premiere account then you can pay with your card without signing up, but most paypal sellers don't know that and they don't know how to set it up. Selling products without the paypal option is a nightmare too.
  12. Does anyone have a recipe for the soy wax lip balm? I would rather go the vegan route:)
  13. I can't stand paypal, if I pay for something and they take paypal I only use my credit without signing up for a account. I like google checkout.
  14. They hold about 5 1/2 oz and are just over 2" high. Here's a pic of them, they are really cute.
  15. Is that better than a regular marshmallow, because I think of burnt marshmallows when I think of toasted LOL
  16. Looking for a supplier that has a good marshmallow FO
  17. Just a heads up if your getting read for vday. Michaels has their valentine stuff out and they have these cute ceramic heart containers in pink, red and white. Would be perfect for candles, I bought a few of them to try out. They are $1 each
  18. I was actually thinking about buying this kit to try it out should I not? I told her I always wanted to try it, but was scared of the lye part. She told me it's safe when used properly and was a really easy kit. Maybe you guys can steer me in the right direction, because I really would like to make my own soap instead of the M&P
  19. This may be a dumb question, but are the shampoo bases and shampoo bars considered natural? I've been told I need to change to a more natural shampoo product for my scalp instead of the commercial shampoos which are detergent based.
  20. My hubby told me about that the other day. Go to youtube and you will find several videos of people microwaving it LOL
  21. I always wondered how it floated. I must confess I still buy ivory soap though I just love it and the scent :smiley2:
  22. Is it complicated to do? I always wanted to try it, but I've been scared of using lye. How does it compare to the M&P soap?
  23. I was thinking of buying from CandleChem or Candle Source they seem to have a nice selection. I just put a order in at Gelluminations, because they had their 1oz oils for $1 each I've been ordering a lot from them lately :smiley2:
