  1. I've been wanting a stainless steel end, because the liquid soap doesn't like my cheap one. I so miss my braun so much though that baby could take the heat lol. The ones on walmart I've been eyeing are the stainless steel ones the hamilton beach with the whisk or one with the chopper if that is what your talking about. They do look plastic in the pic though.

  2. What kind of boxes did you try Steve? I've tried the ziplock containers and regular plastic shoe box kind and they both absorb scent and turn into a saunas inside them. Now I found a bunch of bars a couple weeks ago in a box in open plastic bags and they were fine no DOS or scent loss and they were over 4 years old. We have lots of humidity too and those soaps have a high % of soy and canola.

  3. I did it with a log soap before and I sliced them first then drizzled with MP on them. I didn't spray with alcohol though, but you might want to. Make sure you use non bleeding colors and your fo doesn't discolor or your MP will turn also. The only thing that might happen is if you start slicing the soap your pretty drizzle will come off, because the MP drizzle is so thin. Maybe someone has another idea for you :)

  4. I'm still thinking of using it. Just because I have it! LOL

I have tried the regular crisco but not had it around long enough to see any DOS.

I may save it to try out my first batch of goat milk soap.

Mine usually went DOS in 2 weeks so I can't use it that quick lol. I bought one of those giant cans last year made many batches and they all did the same thing. Even the laundry soap bars went. I stick with the walmart veg shortening it never does this to me. Hope your batches go better than mine lol

  5. Mine weren't air tight either. I know some people use baseball card boxes, I would like to get some of those. I found some bars from over 4 years ago in open plastics bags and thought for sure they were bad and the scent just blew me away when I opened them and they had canola and soy in them. Can't figure that one out, but they still smelled good lol.

  6. Go to coupons.com right now they have coupons for silk coconut milk :) I can't stand the stuff to drink, but will use it in soap. Almond and soy milk works lovely in soap too, but I tend to drink it more than soap with it lol
