  1. Well howdy neighbor, don't say things if you don't mean them! Or you might just get a new best friend whether you want one or not!
  2. Sorry not very familiar with the abbreviations but if BC = Bitter Creek where do they have FCO? I actually need to place another order with them but I have never seen them having FCO. I'll check out the other suggested too thanks all! Actually I can't find it at Aroma Haven either. Scent Works is out of stock. MMS cart is scary (LOL). Scenterstage is a bit pricey too... hmmm what to do what to do.
  3. I'm in Wisconsin (but it doesn't really matter, I'll order from further states if I have to!) FO's for B&B mainly but would be great if they could be used in both.
  4. I'm looking for someone who carries FCO and Fragrance Oils. The only place I know of is Backwoods but they are on vacation so I need to find another place. Any suggestions?
  5. Oh oh ok, I see. I get it! I had to look at your Etsy page to make it click. I think I was making myself more confused than I needed to. So, can you include a small handling fee like people at eBay do? That way you don't have to refund like .20 here and there, which would be easiest... and it would cover the cost of packaging. Or is this totally unacceptable?
  6. I don't know for sure but I think that's ok, lot's of people do that. I would just do it that way unless they contact you and tell you differently. I didn't look at your pictures very closely but I know a "work-around" is to have your website on your labels in your picture and hope people will see it on the label. I just went to look at your pictures and noticed you didn't have the website on them but you have really pretty labels. If someone were really curious to see if you have a website they will see your business name on your labels (or in the etsy store) and google it like I did. It's the first in google listing so they'll find your site if they really want to!
  7. Nevermind I found it: http://www.etsy.com/dosdonts.php Under "Selling": Don't post links or URLs anywhere in your shop to another web site for the purpose of encouraging buyers to purchase your items off Etsy; this is considered fee avoidance. Ok the good news is at least I'm not crazy.
  8. I do, but I haven't listed anything yet because I'm still unsure about it. I do like that I can do my normal pricing there, unlike eBay where everyone seems to expect something for nothing! I contacted them about being able to put your website in the listing... if that is allowed after all, I think I will put some stuff up and try it out too. Worst case, you pay a small amount for some advertising!
  9. Actually, I can't find where I read that in the terms now... perhaps they changed thier rules. I would contact them and ask for certain. That would be awesome if they changed that... I would much rather direct people to my site.
  10. It is against Etsy policy to list your website within your Etsy store. If they notice it, they will take your listing down. They don't want you to just use it for an advertising tool, they actually want to make money for you using their store features. Did not know that about the shipping though, that is kind of weird.
  11. I like Gelluminations for Raspberry Patchouli. It's not too heavy which is great for me because I'm not a huge patchouli fan.
  12. I too like it and think the picture is perfect. I wish I could get my pics to look that professional!
  13. For perfume oils you'd want to mix with a carrier oil such as Sweet Almond Oil, or Jojoba. Some just use cosmetic grade FO's, and then no dilution is needed (supposedly)... Others use Cyclo. Or you can come up with your own blend of oils! You can use DPG in perfume oils but I would advise against using only DPG. You can add a small percentage of DPG to your perfume oils to thicken them up a bit. HTH!
  14. Or that, LOL. But if I were you, I'd also make sure that the FO isn't eating through the roller. I've gotten my rollers from a few different companies and lay them on thier side to test to see if they leak... haven't had one leak yet! Mystical what are the foam sheets you are referring to? I've been using bubble wrap but it's getting expensive.
  15. I use the 1/3 ounce roll ons and they don't leak... you can tape the caps on with electrical tape but you may want to find a new supplier if they are leaking... or check your formula is may be too thin or too much FO which is eating through the roller. HTH.
  16. Oh ok, maybe I'll wait awhile to see if they get it fixed... I don't really want to call in my order and I don't want to send CC info through email. I'm fussy when it comes to ordering!
  17. How do you place it through the website? I can't even get the shopping cart to work! And if you do it through email, how do you pay for it?
  18. Can orders only be placed through telephone? I thought they used to have a shopping cart but now it seems you have to place your order via telephone only?
  19. I think she should have been reported to Etsy anyway. It is a violation of their policies to list your website in your Etsy store. Just like at eBay. Sorry, it's pet peeve of mine when people do that!
  20. I own all three yet haven't tried them in wax yet. Sorry I can't be of help! Toasted Marshmallow smells great OOB though and for me the Buttercream might be better as a mixer. Hope someone can be of more help!
  21. Well it doesn't turn brown brown, it turns tan. It's a common complain over at BC especially for soapers, and for those who don't use the BC bases... apparently it doesn't brown in the BC base. And apparently it doesn't brown in any base if you use dyes (which I don't), so I guess that's probably why I'm having the troubles. But I don't want to have to use dyes in my lotions either so... sigh. If I can't get another PS to work I'll probably just not carry it in creams/lotions. BCN's PS turns a GROSS - almost black in smelly jellies when dyes aren't used. Might try ICS because Jami said above that she hasn't had any problems.
  22. I use those jars that are completely white, light can't get through. I guess I'm just going to hope that another PS will work with my base because I really don't want to change it! And since this PS I have changes everything brown, I might as well try another PS anyway.
  23. I'm sure it's not the base causing the problem because I've used it in smelly jellies as well and it also has turned brown. I get my FO from BCN, might need to try a different supplier for my PS... too bad I like BCNs PS. I put another FO with vanilla in a lotion to see if it'll turn as well. It takes a couple days to get tan so I'll have to wait and see what happens. Also I was told if you add dyes (which I don't) the lotions/creams/etc won't turn brown so that's probably why it hasn't happened to you Creative. Have you tried it in lotion without dyes?
