  1. I've found a few FO's from the "Crafter's Choice" line... and a search on here didn't pull up anything.

I'm particularly interested in their Yankee dupes... my boss is looking for the old Yankee 'Sunflower' scent that's apparently no longer available, and found it from them.

Also, I'm interested in some of their liquid dye colors they offer.. if anyone has used any of their liquid dyes, and has any input.. I'm all ears before I order! Thanks in advance! :D

  2. I'm definetley not a floral fan either, so picking them has become difficult. Some of the ones I've found that I *DO* like:

NG's Downy Morning Glory & Honeysuckle (Hated it while pouring... ended up loving it when it was burning, go fig)

NG's Downy Vanilla Lavender (Usually hate lavender scents, but really like this one... again, it's a headache while pouring, but burning it is fantastic)

NG's Birds Of Paradise (Haven't poured this one yet.. just got a sample of it, and smells awesome OOB... nice slightly-tropical floral)

  3. I wrote down all of the different catagories of fragrances and chose one or to FO's for each. That way I have something for everyone but am no longer going over board buying FO's.

Hahah... I tried that... then looked at my 'spread' and thought... well, this category needs one more... and this one... and this one... and I really think this one should be in there... and this one.... might as well do this one, too.... :laugh2:

  4. Okay, after letting it sit for nearly 24 hours... it's lightened up and softened some... but it still smells like CK-One to us.

Now, I'm not entirely sure what Very Sexy For Women smells like, as I've not smelled it but once and that was some time ago... so, it may not be far off from that, but I've no way of judging that.

But... yeah, we both stand by a CK-One (or "designer imposter" version of it, anyway.. it's very close) type scent. After sitting, I noticed the citrus notes came out a bit more and rebalanced the strong green notes when it first hit the wax... and it's a bit more delicate now (but still a strong, fresh scent..)

But, yeah.. there's my critique of it. I'll post back after letting it cure for a while and let you know how it does in soy. Smells TERRIFIC cold.

Fire & Ice... if you're after a CK-One type scent, you might wanna check this one out.

  5. In order to have a vibrant color, there needs to be a base. Color labels look fantastic on a white background, because the color has something to contrast against. Color printed on clear, has nothing to contrast against in order to make it vibrant.

Unless you get your labels professionally done with a white undercoating printed on clear labels, with the color printed over top of the white... there's just no way you'll get a bright, vibrant color on a clear label at home.

  6. Yeah, that was me looking for a name change for it. Which, I still haven't decided on one.

I haven't had a chance to pour it yet... (hopefully tomorrow), but the OOB scent is a straight knock-off of CK-One cologne.

It's definetly a CK-One scent to me OOB... both me and my pouring partner agree that it's straight-up CK-One, without a doubt. (Actually.. I questioned that it was either CK-One or CK-Be at first.. I always get them confused.. he said it's definetley CK-One)

But, now you've peaked my curiosity to pour it. So, It's almost 10-pm and I'm pulling out the stuff, just to pour this one scent. HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY! :D j/k

I'll let ya know what I think after it's in the wax.

  7. ^ I have to agree with Georgia 100%. I haven't done any shows myself, yet... but I can see the situation.

I would rather go up to a table with a wide selection of scents in a few different styles of jars, rather than a mish-mash of a ton of different stuff. You'd definetley look like you've got it together and perfected those few items, rather than dabbling in a bunch of stuff that is "trying to appeal to everyone at once".
