  1. NG's Choc. Rasp. Cream Roll is fantastic in soy... cold throw is ridiculously strong on the chocolate notes, hot throw really brings out the raspberry and marshmallow layers. It's a nice bitter-sweet chocolate scent... not overpoweringly sweet.. but sure is strong!

I have found however, that this is a love-it or hate-it scent... a few people fell in love with it at first sniff... others were completely turned away. It's not a sure-fire hit with everyone, so I'd suggest picking up a small sample bottle first.

I haven't tried BC's to comment/compare the two... but if you're looking for a Chocolate Raspberry scent.. I'd definetley suggest trying the NG one.

  2. I was hoping TLC26 would jump in and offer to host a co op. She lives very close to NG and she hosted the last co op.

If no one that lives closer offers to do this co op within the next couple of days......I will.

I am going to place an order either way so I may as well order for anyone that is interested.

I'll gladly participate.. hopefully my tax return check gets here soon... it's gonna get me some FO's!

  3. I haven't tried the straight lemon... I have used their Lemon Meringue Pie, however.. that's fantastic. Fresh, bright lemon scent in the cold smell... no Pledge or fuel smell to it at all... hot throw brings out just a hint of pie crust and vanilla meringue... it's terrific in soy.

  4. That's sad to hear... as I was wanting to pick up some Millcreek soy body bases to play around with using a Caramel Corn... WSP's is body safe.

If I'm going to pick one up, I'd have to give the WSP one a try... I want it to pull double-duty for me.

beesweet: Please let me know how it works once you get a chance to play with it!

  5. Has anyone tried the WSP dupe yet? I'd love to hear thoughts on that.

I've not yet ordered anything from TCS... so if I end up getting some from there.. any suggestions on other oils to order? (Can't stand ordering just ONE thing!) Also, has anyone used the TCS Caramel Corn in soy?

  6. I really like the Yuzu from NG... actually have a tin of it on a candle warmer next to me right now. Throws amazing in soy, and it's a strong, sweet citrus.

To each their own, I suppose! ;)

  7. You can find warmers for a couple bucks just about anywhere. I grabbed one at Kroger a few weeks ago for $3.00

You can use a wicked candle on a warmer, absolutely... just be aware that it's heating from the bottom up. A large, tall container will take a while for the melt pool to reach the top so you can get a scent throw. Squatty containers work best.

  8. I got an 8 oz metro from them. The fitment rings were sloppy and we didn't really care for being able to see the seam in the glass. The seam wasn't a flaw, just a personal thing...the fitment however was tacky...but then again, I'm such a picky person when it comes to visuals

I recently switched to the frosted Metro's... the frosting makes the seam nearly invisible. You can find it if you look for it.. but it's not nearly as 'in-your-face' as the clear ones.

  9. Uhm.. the whole "large format" picture taking is a load of bull.

You got a 10 megapixel camera? Awesome! I bet it does take really large file-size pictures.

    Guess what?

That's what photo-editing software is for. You can change the size of the actual picture, AND the file size to suit your needs.

But, what do I know? I'm not a professional photographer like you.

  10. I use Jar Store... and haven't had a problem yet.

Only "problem" I had, was one jar I received, out of 3 cases, was slightly 'off'... 8oz Metro jar that just wasn't formed correctly.. it was more oval than round.. no biggie, used it to test a new scent for myself.

One jar out of 3 cases... not a bad ratio.
