  1. Very interesting. Your candles are nice. This medium mold, can you tell us what size it is compared to a regular votive? Thank you.
  2. I like the middle ones also, very pretty.
  3. That's what I do. People probably wouldn't understand if you said a 7 ounce candle in what is clearly an 8 ounce jelly jar. Maybe think you are not filling the jar all the way, LOL. The little difference really is not enough to call it false advertising. I had jars I found in Menards of all places, which held 16 ounces of wax. Someone on ebay had the same jars and said they were 22 ounces. Now that is false advertising.
  4. http://www.geocities.com/get_scent/waxsection.htm#soy
  5. There is tons of info on this subject. Here's a good link http://www.geocities.com/get_scent/waxsection.htm
  6. Did you speak to the owner or just someone answering the phones? If that was the owner you spoke with and they are not making it right with you, the company should be mentioned. I for one would not like that to happen to me and others should be warned about them. Very bad business practice. Suppliers are a dime a dozen these days, customer service is most important. LOL, gas went up three times in one day here. Not really laughing, it should be another day or so when it reaches $3.00 a gallon.
  7. I like this statement The candles, which range in aromas from pear to Moroccan cedar, are made out of all-natural soy wax. Belasco says that soy wax is so pure, you can eat it. And he has, once using soy candle wax to fry chicken to prove his point. LOL
  8. There is a seller on ebay, who may be able to help you out, just a suggestion. She is very nice http://stores.ebay.com/Sue-Croft-Candles_W0QQssPageNameZstrkQ3amefsQ3amesstQQtZkm
  9. I use orange chiffon cake and coconut cream pie from KY, fantastic!
  10. Almost impossible to list 3, but here goes Just Scent Tennessee Candle Natures Garden
  11. Those are cool, like that much better than when he chunks stick out the top. Great job!
  12. Liquid dyes are the best. You are right about the blocks, I can never get them to melt completely no matter how high the temp of the wax.
  13. Gingerbread Sweet Potato Pie or Pumpkin Pie Spice Jack Frost, add many things to this as well as by itself
  14. Very pretty as always Eugenia, trim that wick!
  15. That black licorice from NG, well, IMO, can't get any more true to it's name fragrance. Throws like the bomb in any wax I have put it in. Don't know acout BC's
  16. My favorites are Cinnamon Bun, ultimate vanilla, berry buttercream, warm orange gingerbread, orangle clove, blackberry sage, this old house, potpourri spice, vanilla patchouli, lemon slices, orange dreamsickle, katie jo's pink lemonade....too many to list
  17. The first layer is poured the hottest, second and third layers 5-10 degrees less, and yes, you can wait until each layer cools a bit or run the risk of the layers running.
  18. NG for the black licorice, BCN for candy corn
