I get my jars from the Jar Store and I use 70/30 wax if that helps you. I just use the 2 725's for the 12 oz metro and 1 725 for the 8 oz metro. This does not work for all FO's but for most of them.If it's a great burn, I'd be okay with double wicking. Where are you getting your status jars?I just got the click and ship notification from wick it... hopefully I can try them next week.

Yes in the 70/30 blend. It is perfect.

I double wick these jars with 2 725's. Great burn. That's what I'm hoping for, single wicks in my 12.5 oz. status jars. The wicks I'm using now almost get it, but they don't clean up the hangup even on the 5th or 6th burn. I hate to double wick.Dixie

Thank you.....I am such a dope. That is about 1.4 ounces (slightly less) to every pound of wax. Approximately 8.6%.Dixie

3/4 oz fo to 8.75 ox wax. I am to dumb to tell you the % that is.May I how many oz. of FO per pound you are using of wax? I working on this. Use J223 and CD wicks. I think I have to go up at least 3 wick sizes than normal but I agree, what a throw! Just not getting the burn quite right just yet.Dixie

I just poured this FO less than 24 hours ago. It is in a 12 oz metro jar with 2 wick-it 725's. Oh let me tell you that my house is a 2 story 2700 sq foot home. I have it burning in my kitchen and I could smell it in my upstairs bathroom which is at the opposite end of my house. I am using 70/30 blend. I only wish I could get this kind of throw from all my FO's. That is my goal. It is not blowing me out of the house but I can smell it everywhere. Just an FYI.

BCN has really nice frosted plastic tealight boxes that hold 1 dozen tealights.

Try going down one size. The 700 series is for soy/veg waxes and they may burn a little hotter than the 600 series. The recomendation for that size jar for the 700 series would be for soy, I use a blend and I go much lower than the recommended sizes for my wax.

They probably turn your walls black.

I do not use that brand but for my 50/50 you can burn the next day.

They self trim, do not smoke, do not flicker. I have tried every wick known to man and I like these the best. You should have gotten your samples by now. I would call them. They send a huge assortment for you to test with. I have bought 1000 at a time but it looks like you can get them somewhere else for 100. I think 1000 is about $36.00. Be persistant.....it is a really nice FREE sample.Hi. Why are they your wick of choice? They burn well, no mushrooms, no flickering, lots of sizes to choose from? The CDNs are working fairly good for me as I think I can find more inbetween sizes than the HTPs have. But, sometimes they just won't work how I want them to. Did it take a long time to recieve the samples? I requested some on-line and it seems like it was quite a while back. But, waiting is always hard. Are these the ones you have to buy 1000 at time? Just wondering. BethDixie

Love them, they are my wick of choice now.Has anyone tried the wickit series 700 wicks? I just got their samples and will let everyone know how they work for me in my 100% soy. I'm wondering how they will compare to the cd wicks. Let me know if anyone has used them and how they have worked for you. Thanks,

Thanks! I know I need to start using it as some of my candles have faded and i am ready to start selling so I don't want the candles to fade!I measure it out for each individual batch, because some colors need a bit more, some a bit less. Some candles don't get any color added at all; depending on the fo, sometimes I can get away with adding no UV inhibitor to uncolored batches.Dixie

Do you add it to your melting pot or do you measure it out after you put your wax in your pour pot along with FO and dye?I have not had to. I use 1/2 tsp per lb and do not have any wicking problems. I have also made batches of wax before and forgot to add UV and the candles still burned fine on same wicking.geek
