I've left candles in my truck in cold temps and they were just fine. No noticeable glitches. Actually, my truck smelled awesome in the AM!

I love Cajuns Christmas Memories as well and Snowdrift Berries....now where did I get that? I'll post who when I get home. Sugared Spruce and Home for the Holidays is good too!

The sale is based on a list of everything they will get for the price they are paying. Whether I use some of it now or not, they will still get these items when they take over. They are not getting any candles already made, only supplies to make them.

I don't have a store, so there's no shelving, ceiling fixtures, etc... Just supplies to continue the line for the first year, training, etc.. , the co name and website, etc...

Since they are not set up for pour, I am pouring for the rest of the year, as many of my wholesalers haven't placed their holiday orders. By the time they take over, there will be no more inventory, I'd have sold it all.

The only part of my company they are buying is the 9 oz and 16 oz mason jar candles. The tartwarmers, tarts, etc... are not going with it.

The effective date of the sale is 1/1/11. I can do whatever with my inventory until that date and still use my co. name. The new owners are aware that I am still the owner until that time.

Finally!

They take over 1/1/11. I''m still taking care of the holiday orders and having a going out of business sale in a few weeks to clearance out what I have left.

What doesn't sell at my sale (tart warmers, candle warmer lamps and other misc. supplies that are not going with the company) will be put in the classifieds towards the end of November.

I'm so happy I was able to sell it and all my wholesale customers are staying with the candle line.

We will sign the papers w/in the next 2 weeks.

I've been using KY tart wax and I guess I need to up the FO as I'm not impressed with 1 oz. pp. I also tried to order some of candlesource wax (pillar/votive) and they are out for another 2-3 weeks.

They said I could use their container blend for tarts....?? Is that so?

Carrie, how tall are the 26oz. apothecaries?

Soy327, then there's hope for my status jars! if it worked for you using palm wax, they should work with my paraffin and parasoys. Thank you!

I'm at work right now, but they fit perfectly under their warmer lamps (the ones with the arm and frosted shade). I'll measure tonite and let you know.

Hi ladies! I just finished using their Oatmeal Milk & Honey and cannot get a hot throw at all! I use 4630 for my containers with a 44-32-18z (50) wick in my 8 oz containers. I'm new to this and find some of my fo's from them do not smell while lit. They have a good cold throw. Any help would be appreciated! Love this site everyone is so helpful and friendly!!

I'd try a 51z wick, 44z seems too small.

That FO is exactly like the shampoo and it's wonderful and very strong.

I did a craft show outside an old courthouse, lit the candle and people said they could smell it 200 yds away.

Get a sample and try it.

Hi Everyone!

I've been testing different waxes, Xcel and 6006. I posted a thread in the Veg section so this question is for the 6006 and the status jars.

I'm overstressed trying to figure out the wicking in the 6006's. I've been testing using ECO's and they burn way too hot and smoke.. if I use a smaller size the burn pool stays small and doesn't reach the glass..

I'm using 6006, status jars 8oz and 12oz, 1.5oz FO/pp and using liquid dye.

Anyone using the same kind of combo that can help?

I use 6006 and use the CD wicks. Try a CD12 or CD14.

Two ladies from a neighboring town came out and we talked for 2 hours.

They are so excited and have been in meetings with a financial advisor.

I have tons of paperwork to provide plus some inventory #'s.

But I'm hoping it's a go!

I've decided not to go the "financial backer" route with my candle business. I want to sell it outright, lock stock and barrell.

Had a meeting yesterday with two ladies from a local town and they are very interested and very excited! They'll let me know next week!
