  1. a buttercream frosting? I am hoping to have something that will give me the frosting part without placing an order from a supplier. I just can't think what to use, anyones help would be much appreciated. I have plenty of scents on hand. Thanks, Jane
  2. I've ordered( 2 x ) sample packs from JS and wasn't that impressed, They aren't really that strong and the Hot Throw just doesn't get it with most of the scents I've tried. I use parrifin. Other company's seem to do better for me. I like the bakery & spicey scents mostly. just sharing my experiences.
  3. Has anyone tried this one I love this smell and wally world carries a candle this same scent also Mi**y's use to carrry it. It was a best seller for me any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  4. Hello Chandlers, I use to use a lot of Mi**y's fragrances. I have never been able to find a replacement for Cranberry Muffin does any body know where I can get the exact duplicate it was sweet smelling and yummy. I have found replacements for almost all I had used that M sold, it has been a long process. Any info would be appreciated as we all know not all scent is created equal just because it's got the same name!!! Thanks, Jane

  7. I don't use soy but I use spiced sugar plum from AWE in parrifin and it's great, strong throw both hot & cold. Maybe that would help.

  9. I use spiced sugar plum from At Wix End in Ohio, My customers really like it.
  10. Fellow chandlers, I wanted to share a couple poems to use with your candles if you desire. The 1st one was written by myself and my daughter, the 2nd I'm not sure where I found it on the net & truly regret that I don't know who to credit. I make up card stock with these printed on them & put them attached to my candles. But I am doing a candle party this weekend and am offering one free with any candle purchase if they want one to include for thier candles they might give as a gift. This is a Christmas mostly focused party. So here goes feel free to use these. Let me know what you think also. # 1 A friend is like a candle, a light to brighten the way! A sweet aroma forever in your heart to stay, a warming glow that will always bless your day! A friendship is like a candle, who's light will never go away! #2 A candle in the kitchen "lifts" the burden off the chore. A candle in the foyer says "welcome" as you open the door. A candle in the livingroom says "were glad you're here!" A candle in the bedroom says,"I sure do love you dear!" Hope you enjoy and can use these. Blessings, Jane
  11. Sorry Golde but that was not a scent I used so can't help you there. Did you try to do a search to see which supplier may have it and try a sample? Jane
  12. What fragrance are you looking for? I use to use alot of here fragrances and have now replaced most that are & were just as strong as hers from other suppliers but it has taken me several years to do so. I am still in search for a hazelnut creme that has a kick b-tt throw as her's did. Jane
  13. Thanks Sharon for the review on C & S scents boy do I wish I lived close to them I'm in Ohio and can go to At Wix End but it's an hour drive I also can go to Columbus to one candle place can't think of the name off hand. I just can't stand it when I order samples and they smell yuck but that's a chance we all take. I bought an Autumn Afternoon candle from a bussiness close to me that makes candles and some of her other scents are listed on C&S website so I kninda think this might be the same. I just want to find this scent cause I love it.Thanks again, Jane

  15. Wholesale surrp plus carries it at least they did. I have not checked there site for a while.
  16. Has anybody ever used cinnamon sticks for the cinnamon part to make this scent. I did a search and seen most people use either plain cinnamon or red hot cinnamon with the bayberry equal parts. I need to use the cinnamon sticks and was curious if any body has done this mix? Thanks for any and all info about this scent. Blessings, Jane
  17. Does anybody know what I could use in color blocks, straight parrifin to achieve a sage green or sometimes I have heard it called muted green. Sorta like the color of yankee's meadow mist or sage & citrus color. I was thinking use either a sage, hunter, or kelly color lightly with some added brown to sorta mute it??? Any ideals on what to use would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Jane
  18. Thanks everyone for the quick replies & links. I will try the search button in the future. Thanks & Blessings, Jane
  19. This may sound dumb but what is a clam shell for tarts is it a type of packaging? Can someone provide a link or website where they can be seen and possible ordered any help would be appreciated. Sorry to sound so dumb about this. I have been making candles for 6 years and don't know what these are duhhhhhh. LOL! Jane
  20. I agree with the previous poster make them layered like the candy colors keeping the top layer smaller. I did these a few years and they sold like wildfire. But I would not do over a 8-10 oz candle cause when holloween is over they will move on to christmas scents soon. It is a seasonal thing but some one told me they rename it caramel cookie for later use?? I don't quite know about the caramel smell??? Maybe another name would be better. IMO Jane
  21. Can anybody describe how this smells to me? Thanks, Jane
