  1. I have the opposite problem. I put mine on warm and it goes above 200 if I'm not careful. If i were you I'd put it on 200 and watch it.
  2. I would say if you're just starting and you're just keeping the tarts for yourself and close family, Id say use some ice cube trays. You can buy a whole bunch and just pour. Also, if you want pretty ones keep your eyes open at the dollar stores, because you can find ice cube trays with shapes. I have heart shaped ones from Target that I use. I hope I helped and good luck. Put your next batch in the gallery so we can all see them.Becky
  3. I want to see if I like gel, so I was wondering if you guys know if Joanns has the Penreco? Im curious because they have a small bucket, and I have a 50% off coupon LOL> I have everything else (wick, color).
  4. So I got the balls to heat gun it. Whatcha think now?
  5. I was thinking about getting into gel. One question I have, (I hope has not already been asked) do you guys scent the gel in the everlasting candle. Does the heat from the tealight warm the gel enough to give off scent? I know to use gel safe fragrance, but I love the everlasting candles. Would like to put some sea shells and stuff, but I love scented candles. Just curious.
  6. Heres a chunk candle I made. What do you guys think? Any suggestions for improvement?
  7. Here is a pic of my first hurricane with embeds (ohter than chunks). The leaves came through the outside of the wax. What should I do to fix that? Other than that what do you guys think?
  8. I just poured a July 4th chunk candle. I put some blue stars and some regular red chunks in with white over pour. I think it might actually turn out. The white just coated the stars; dont think there was any bleeding. LOL. Pray for my candle. LOL. If it's good I'm gonna post it in the gallery
  9. I've never tried it, but this is my idea for doing it. If your container has a lid you could cut it like this, pour the first layer, and lay the container on its side until it cools then add the next layer. I hope this helps or atleast inspires you.Becky I'd love to see what you end up with in the gallery
  10. THose are pretty cool. It would be awesome if you knew someone who owns a spa or works at one who could sell them to people who just had pedicures done.
  11. I saw this and thought of your candles. You would probably have to usew candle glitter or non at all but here ya go.http://www.candlehelp.com/?content=floatingrose
  12. THose are so awesome.. I bet they smell great.
  13. Very cool. I agree they are to cool to burn.
  14. The watermelon one especially cool.
  15. Beautiful, though I have to agree with Angel, the pillar is my fav.
  16. Ask for books instead of cards and start a library for the little one! Have each person write a little note or poem, or at least sign their name as to who it's from ~ great keepsake. I love this idea.
  17. I like them both, but my fav is the chunk. I love that color combo too.
