  3. Will do! We have not been to the beach yet, but have been to the mountains, Mt. Mitchell.....so very beautiful.
  4. Michi, the idea is that you lick it off your partner. I make mine with flavored liqour, mix in a little powdered sugar and it tastes like Spree.

  9. Thanks for the link, ANNCEE. SOCKMONKEY: I do the same, which is why I thought hubby was crazy for objecting to glass jars.
  10. Drama on a candle/soap forum! Who would have thunk it?
  11. All: I do plan on saving the air packet things, I am sure they will be useful. Kristine: Thanks for the link and tips.
  12. My package today came with these little bags full of air. :/
  13. Thanks for the tips. Where can I get packing peantus? I saw some at Staples, but they were pretty expensive, IIRC.
  14. Are you talking about the 'ribbons' ones from Olay? Those Rock, I love the blue one... have not tried the pink one yet. I sure would love to figure out how they are made!
  15. Thanks, Robin. I'll hop right over to the USPS site and order the boxes. How do you keep things from breaking up and leaking while being shipped?
  16. Thanks. How much do you put in per pound of bath salts? oh, and how do you make bubble bath powder?
  17. How do you pack up things for shipping? I just got my order in :whoohoo:and an so excited to get to making my B&B, but wonder how they will ship. How do you wrap up individual bath bombs for shipping? What do you use to keep bottles from leaking? Is the shrink wrap around the caps enough? How do you find shipping boxes? I looked on USPS, but it seems like the boxes are way too big. Thanks for any ideas. I am anxious to get started! Oh my, I do think this should have gone in the business section. Sorry!
  18. Sandy...I have no idea. I have never bought from Lush, but I have heard a few people say they have tried it and like it. Pamperme... I hope someone chimes in as well!
  19. Has anyone tried to make these? http://usa.lush.com/cgi-bin/lushdb/catzoom.html?mv_arg=Shower%20Jellies&expand=Bath
  20. Seems like it would be hard to stick to the glass.
  21. Yes. Seems to me to be a good way to get my name out there and make money for DD's school as well. Oh, and sorry for putting this in the wrong folder. *blush*
  22. I am just starting my B&B home business (in a area far from home that I just recently moved to) and thought of selling through the PTO at my daughter's school in an effort to get my name out there. I am thinking of making up gift sets and donating a percentage to the school. Has anyone tried anything like this? Do you think it would be a good way to get my name out there? I am also donating a basket for a silent auction at my church and will place a stack of cards next to the basket on the table.
  23. OK, Nix the glass. I just thought it would be a nice way to present them to first time buyers and reduce costs. Back to the drawing board... Cello bags sound good, if I can't find plastic bottles/ jars that I like.
  24. Ok, I keep seeing things about co-ops. What are these?
