  1. EUGENIA: Is that something you could put powder in that will leave your skin with a powdery feeling? I am looking to make this for a friend: It's a shea butter bar with powder in it somehow that you rub on your wet warm skin after you bathe. The butter melts into you and leaves a light dust of powder when it dries.
  2. I don't really think 'hard' when I think of lotion bars. I think of something that is soft. Of course, I have never made any. I was just wondering how much FCO, 76, and dry flo you put in yours... if you do not mind sharing.
  3. A customer requested Stella (McCartney). Anyone know where to find it?
  4. I think tht I am just going to play and see what I come up with. I am sure my customer will be more than happy to test them all out and give me her feedback.
  5. My bubble bars come out great, usually. The one with the burts bees wasn't quite a bubbly, though. I wonder if some FO's kill bubbles. Did you use the recipe I posted? What did It come out as? You could always call it bubbling bath powder if they do not mold well.
  6. Are you kidding?? I used it yesterday to make bubble bars and it smelled up my whole house! I am about to go take a bubble bath because it smells sooooo good!
  7. I have a customer asking about these. Any ideas on how to make them? Schnuggle bar... It's a shea butter bar with powder in it somehow that you rub on your wet warm skin after you bathe. The butter melts into you and leaves a light dust of powder when it dries. It's My favorite bath product in the world.
  8. Oh, I like it! I am eager to use it in something, I am thinking bath melts.
  9. TX: Got my package and it had a Got milk sample. YUMMY!! I almost missed it, so be sure to dig around in the packaging to see if you have a sample.
  10. I am so glad my bubble bars are working for others.
  11. How much do your bombs weigh? Mine are about 5 oz, but I am thinking that is too big. I gave up trying to mold them in a ball, and am using a Wilton heart shape muffin tin. They are pretty, but a bit large, I think. Also, about how much do you charge per bomb? If I did my math right, my cost is $2.50 for a batch of four, before packaging, which brings them, with packaging, to $.90 my cost X4 is $3.60. Is this too expensive? I guess they could be broken in half and used for two baths.
  12. I fugured that much, just thought it was interesting that all the recipes I found were for 'lava' lip gloss. I am guessing that this will mostly be a kiddie thing in my line, with a few adults, so I will have the 'lava' for novelty.
  13. They must be very popular, all the recipes that I have found are for lava lip gloss.
  14. HA! I was just on that page, lol.
  15. Do you make lip balm or roll on gloss? I am going to try a roll on gloss.
  16. I only spent $32, but it was very hard! I had to limit my spending this week. I started out with obout $60.00 in my cart and had to cut a lot out. I think they will be a good FO supplier. They even have Karma from L*sh! I am also very interested in the flavor oils.
  17. Tx I got the Burts bees FO from Oregon Trails http://www.oregontrailsoaps.com/fragranceAE.html 2 ounces, $3.95 4 ounces, $7.95 8 ounces, $13.95 1 pound, $24.95
  18. You can do whipped shea with half a pound. I thought about that, but wondered if I could get a good whipping with so litle. Oh, I just might get giddy if I could do both!
  19. I am getting some shea soon, tomorrow I hope, and can't decide if I want to make bath melts or whipped shea. I have read so much good things about both! I think I have enough for the tub with shower gel, bath bombs, salts, and bubble bars so I was thinking whipped shea. But, I wonder if I can use a stick blender or hand mixer to whip shea. I would also have to order and wait for containers, unless I could store the whipped shea in a sterile jar till I got the containers in. So, I lean more to the bath melts. What would you do if you only had a pound of shea, other than kicking yourself for not ordering more?:embarasse The thought of either makes me I am excited! The package I am expecting will be for my very first official customer. I ordered Burt's bees baby FO for her and just went a bit crazy ordering other things from OT as well. Heee. I will have the shea, lip gloss (VooDoo berry) and the FO. So fill an order, and try out two new things!! I am about as happy as a pig in mud. Hubby, OTOH......
