Ok, I sell homemade soap and scrubs and candles I have recently designed a purse that has changeable covers and they are also reversable. It is like a sleeve that covers most of the purse Really cute!! My busi name currently is kd Essentials Trying to come up with a chic name for this purse and I am at a loss. Still in the beginning stage but I will post a pics if that will help.

If you are adding sugar to a body wash, I am pretty sure the sugar will melt cause a body wash has water in it. If you want to use the body wash you have - you could add something else , like strawberry seeds or walnut shell powder for exfoliating . hth! -
I think i am on to something just need to know if this is feasible? I did an experiment with some lotion and alcohol and created a spray on scented moisturizing hand sanitizer I think. Just wondering if this is considered sanitizing and not sure what type of alcohol should be used for this type of thing I use it when I am out and can't get to soap and water... Advise please thanks

Has anyone ever made cold cream, My mom wants me to make her some., I have found a few recipes , basically it is bees wax, lite oil, water or rose absolute, and borax. anyone use other ingredients I was thinking like honey, glycerin, soy wax, oil and a pinch of shredded hp soap or liquid soap Tell me if I am on the right track thanks

I bought this from walgreens, its a solid room freshener in a round container with vent holes in the lid , It is called citrus magic - pure linen solid air freshener. It works super great!!!!!!!!!! I use it in the cat box area of my house. SOOO I read the ingredients water , saponified fatty acids (?), fragrance, veg emusilfiers, vegie odor eliminators(?), salt and charcoal Kinda sounds like soap with salt and charcoal, cept over time this dissolves Wonder what odor eliminators are? Any ideas on how to make this

I thought maybe the burning would cure out but I agree if I am going to rebatch I should do it now. Did hp and has cured about 2 weeks and is still a bit soft I just wasn't sure about the amount of oil to use,

Do you want to rebatch because it looks bad? I would suggest to rebatch soon I do hp method (that's cooking it 2 hrs) and rebatch the next morning. I do it differently that most I hp in the stock pot and leave it in the oven over night then reheat it till its goopy I then whip it and add fo at that time . I call it my whip rebatch method. I am not sure about cp method though

can I add oil at 1 % to a rebatch? Not sure if I should Soap is still curing but I am getting a bit of burning on my tongue after i do the test...like I test it and then a few secs later tongue feels a bit o burn So should I wait a few weeks or rebatch and add a bit of oil?

I made this acne bar for my son and he claims it cleared his skin in two days and he has been using my scrub with great results too. I thought the bar was a less expensive alternative for him and he is just raving on how well it is working It is a bit drying but he says that his skin has totally healed up. NOW I need a name that doesn't make any claims but my customers will know what it is for My thought Anywhere you have acne ( not fond of the word acne though) or oily skin formula all suggestions are totally welcome Thanks

Just made my first aroma bead jar freshener and trying to figure costs and pricing... Seems with jar and beads and fo my cost is about 6.50 therefor, I would have to charge between $12.00 - $18.00 for a 10 oz jar Sound about right? I am using those pretty jars from NG-- ya thats about 2.00 a jar. Just wondering if I use a smaller jar will I still have good scent throw? Like maybe those mason or something

ok, I know this is not how cream soap is done but I just had to try and see what would happen I took a small amount of my homemade bar soap and heated it with a pinch of powdered milk and a drop of water Then I added some of my liquid soap and whipped it up, I also added some glycerin and stearic...not sure if I needed that though. Anyway...I let it set over night and still looks like cream soap and still bubbles nicely Now...do I put it in a jar or malibu tube? Was really trying to make a cream soap that could be put into a pump but this is too thick. Maybe I will do another experiment today without the stearic
