Im guessing it helps to do both. SL makes the bars harder so it slips out of the mold easier.

so rubbing the mold with olive oil helps??? Also how much SL do you add because someone else I know does the same thing with her soap but she does HP.

28 hours in those molds I got from Tony's and I cannot get the danged soap out. I even put it in the freezer. How do you all keep from getting your soap stuck in idividual molds?:angry2:

I have waited so long to get this right and without streaks. NO MORE STREAKS! This one is just naked. I didnt wanna waste color or fragrance just in case it didnt work,lol.

Seems like it would be strange to do unless you swirl in the pot then pour into each individual mold.

Just out of curiousity, Robin, how much do you discount?

Thats a lot of oils for a beginner LOL. I use 32oz til I get the hang of it but you go on witcha bad self!!! I think it is usually 0.7 oz per pound for Fragrance oil so that would be almost 2 or 3 oz? My math sucks.

a friend of mine(beth) from livejournal made it. It is wheat germ, milk and honey and it is an HP soap.
