Right in the middle of doing a CP...my scale died and when I say died I mean ready for the garbage can. Now Ive got all these oils all measured out and cant even re-do my lye water.:mad:

Ummm It says to use between 8 and 12 oz. Im using 9 but 3 of that is milk slurry. Should I up the water again?

Ok that didnt work either damnit. Im mad cuz I need to make some darned soap. Why would it not dissolve?

NM I figured it out. My water and my lye are too cold.

I have tried to make soap 2 days in a row and my lye has not dissolved all the way both times.I have not changed any conditions except now I do water discount but other that nada. I see little white flakes in my water. I am using one of those rubbermaid pictures. Could it be eating away at the plastic? Im at a loss

Does that help it cure any faster?

Is there anyway that you can do a CP soap and have it cure faster? Can you like put it in the oven and help it along?

Thanks. I have some shimmer dust from here: http://www.rusticescentuals.com/glitter.html I dont think these will work in CP so I just sprinkled it on top.

No the red is not changing. The rest is turning brown. I just dont like the red,LOL!

Do you add it to your cp? When and how much? I think I wanna try adding it at trace so that there is glitter through out.

It was my Select Shades( I sent some samples off to work with my mother to get them tested. They were fine). My neighbor was like give them to family for Xmas so I said hey sure!

Yesterday I made Pink Sugar CP and I colored the top layer with what was supposed to be pink and well its not pink. *weeps* Its X-mas Red and turning brown. UGH!
