  1. Well, about a half hour ago I re-registered with soap dish and they said that I would have a response in my email in about 10 minutes or sooner. I still don't have a response. This is what happened the last time I tried to register (couple months ago) and never received an email from them. Maybe I should contact soap dish itself and see what they say.
  2. I had a hard time getting on there for some reason.
  3. Well, girls, looks like I will need ot order one from silver moons, lol. The one from Nizzy's will be ok for this beginner soaper. It comes with a liner you can lift out. I bet the ones from silver moons are nicer. Thanks for the input.
  4. Thank you mystical for the website. I will check it out.
  5. I just ordered a 12 slab from Nizzy's soap from australia. $48.00 with shipping. I will let you know how it works out. It will take 7 to 10 days to get probably. She is mailing it out today (it is tues. afternoon there). I will check out the others. She also has 6 bar molds and 9 bar molds, 24 and on up.
  6. I have the ones on ebay. They work nice. I just like something I don't have to take apart and put back together.
  7. I can't seem to find silver moon?
  8. I just seen some cool molds on nizzy's soaps. The only thing is I don't think the size of the bars are long enough. 2 x 2 x 2. Of course, you would not have to use the dividers I suppose. If someone checks them out, let me know, ok, please! http://nizzymoulds.com/
  9. Can someone tell me where I can buy the slab molds that are lined? I know upland has them but they don't have any available right now. Thanks all.
  10. Well, aren't you the clever one. Good idea for us newbies with soaps. Thanks.
  11. You can add the milk at trace also and refrigerate. As long as milk is cold. I know with the ice method, it stays pretty close to white/opaque.
  12. I didn't! You could put paper or something if you prefer.
  13. I know, that is what hurts me. I have no place close to get wax
  14. Thanks Regina. I was thinking of trying their CB pure soy. I have had advanced in the past and the scent throw is not as strong for me. I think the CB 135 may be the same as EZ Soy or the CB pure soy. I think they have samples I can buy and try. I will check them out. They also have other things on there that I was not aware of. Glad to meet you. Too bad we were not all close enough to order and cut down on the shipping.
  15. Hello fellow Illinois friends! I am from Farmington, Il, close to Peoria, IL. I was wanting to purchase from DP morris, kangaroo blue or nuscents but I don't know which wax to order since I always buy from BCN the EZ soy wax. I don't know what other wax is like EZ soy. Nuscents, and the others have theirs under different names. If anyone knows what compares to EZ soy, could you let me know please. I would like to get my shipping cost down. Deb
  16. I didn't know if it was to keep them from cracking as much. Just as easy I guess to keep out unless you are in a hurry to dry them.
  17. I was wondering if anyone has had problems with lip gloss tubes. I remove the insert to fill the glass bottles and sometimes the lids with the wands won't screw back on. I can't see anything up there and wonder if if is the balm that keeps it from screwing back on. I have left them to dry but does not make any difference. Anyway, I made the lip gloss receipe on PV soap and I just love it. Not too thick and not too thin (sound like the three bears story, lol). Where do ya'll buy your lip gloss tubes from? Maybe getting tubes with rollers would be better.
  18. I saw somewhere where you can use a heat gun on bath bombs. What does a heat gun help with except maybe drying faste?
  19. thank you Louise. That is why I am interested in them cause of my label with a foot.
  20. Here is my label http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb302/diinman/footscrubs009.jpg
  21. Where do they have those stickers at?
  22. Do you mix your micas with something first?
